Love
Aldridge
Blake
Dirk
At the moment, if you needed a player, strictly for this season, how would you rank these 4 Power Forwards?..
Dirk Nowitzki
LaMarcus Aldridge
Blake Griffin
Kevin Love
Love
Aldridge
Blake
Dirk
Dirk is last right now but he will come on strong. Blake for all his guady stats IMO is the most over-rated - plays terrible defense and for his size and bulk does not go inside enough.
Aldridge > Love > Dirk > Griffin
Right now Dirk is last. I think he gains ground before season's over, maybe takes the lead if he gets his together.
Kevin Love would be hard to pass up, but so would LA. Griffin is athletic, but I feel like he's going to break an ankle with those long distance leaps where he lands on his ass. Love is efficient, so is LA.
Only this Moron would put Dirk first
i'd rather take chuck hayes or Carl ING Landry over dirk at this moment tbh
I think Griffin will end up being the best out of the group, but right now Love and Aldridge are more reliable than him.
Aldridge
Love
Griffin
Dirk
Great take, lefty...you never disappoint.
Thanks Son
Aldridge is a ing beast, really come into his own. And with the way Dirk is playing I have to put him second, with Love 3rd and Griffin 4th because his defense is non-existent and he can't create for himself at all
1) Love 2) Aldridge 3)Blake 4) Dirk.....
But I wouldn't even have Dirk in my top 5 PF's right now.
As of right now, if I had to pick it would go
1)Love
2)Aldridge
3)Griffin
4)Millsap
5)Josh Smith
Until Dirk gets his legs back and out of his shooting slump, its hard to see him breaking in the top 5 PF's this season, esp when he doesnt play a lick of D.
The season is still young and this list (pretty close to mine) is pretty much spot on - Aldridge can really play two positions as can Dirk and that makes them both so valuable and Dirk is a proven commodity who is the only one who has proved he can take a team to two finals (and without another top five player on his side). However, if I had another great defender on the team I would have to think long and hard about passing up on Love as he just competes so hard and I would also like to see Griffin play for a coach that demands he become a two way player - he has all the tools to be one and should be able to develop into a shotblocking beast and better than average defender, as well as a scorer. He has the highest upside of all but it needs to be developed.
I second this. Though i'd put LA above Blake
