...chip fracture of the ankle.
yeah, it sucks for Indiana and GHill3![]()
Sucks bad. I saw it. Get well gh3
that sucks , he was having a good season and this is his contract year.
Awful luck, considering he didn't get an extension.
I like Hill so this sucks! He is a good dude and a contract year as some said.
didn't ginobli has the same thing in 2008 when he got hurt?
Damn. That sucks, hope he gets better soon.....
That really sucks. Was looking forward to watching him play when the Spurs meet Indy.
At least he won't be available to drop 30 on us.
What horrible luck that is, thought Hill did quite well in SA considering all of us were wondering who the he was when drafted.
True and the Hill fanboys like TJastal will about how we let Hill go.
vid i made for his career high 30 pts..
Feel bad for Hill. I hated to see him go even though I think we got the better end of the deal. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
They called Manu's injury a stress fracture, which is from repeated abuse and not a single incident. I think Hills is more of a common break, which (hopefully) will heal quicker and more fully. It was in his left ankle, not the right ankle he had trouble with when he was here - so hopefully it doesn't indicate any chronic problem.
that sucks, he'll recover. best wishes to ya George!
holy ... that makes me sad ... get well George
Malik Hairston sighting!
more time for him to twitter spam everyone.
That's why an average player should get their extensions as soon as possible.
wow that sucks... I hope he will recover quickly
And that's Spurs news because he used to play for the Spurs ?
Wow, seriously ............
Oh, crap. I just found out what a "chip fracture" is. I've always heard it called an "avulsion fracture", and it's not good. It's where the tendon actually rips away from the bone, by breaking off the piece of bone it's attached to. Sometimes it heals on its own, but that probably can't happen quickly enough for him to stress it again this season. I'm no doctor, but I've known two people who did this to themselves, and it wasn't fun. Waiting for it to heal, and then being able to trust it afterward. Personally, the thought of ripping a tendon off the bone is nasty. The thought of doing it a second time just gives me the creeps.
And, yes, GB20 - even though they never said it, that is the surgery that Manu had.
Maybe spurs can bring him back cheap since they dropping Anderson.
