Again, notice how RJ and Blair both sat almost all of the second half because they don't have it in them to fight like the others did to get the win. Should have amnestied the . And Blair? I don't know...

Our bench has been off the charts ridiculous overall. As a whole they have done so much more good than bad and spurs are coming aces at this point with many guys exceeding expectations and that's with JA not panning out to this point
    IOW, we stacked.

Our next 2 home games are must wins.
The Thunder one will be very tough, IMO. But the Spurs should blow out the Hornets hopefully. I don't expect Duncan to play tomorrow.

So apparently the plan against the other 2 Texas teams is to get behind by double digits and try and pull out a win, awesome!

A tale of two halves to say the least. It seemed like the Spurs were executing very well but missing a lot of gimmees and open jumpers in the third and had to keep feeding Timmy and I had a feeling it was just a matter of time until we could really cut the deficit in the fourth. Props to Timmy looking like a dominant post player and actually getting to the line at will, much like his wonder years. Big ups to Green who started off very slowly but made that huge three in front of Roy Williams to give the Spurs the lead.

    GO SPURS GO

Ive tried to be patient with , cause I actually dont think hes been as horrible as last season. But its obvious that Green is way hungrier and has ten times the balls RJ does. I dont mind RJ starting but I think Green should definitely be out there in the 4th in close games. Same with Blair, dont mind him starting but he has no business being out there in crunch time.

Blair got zero points, but still had a great game because of the work he did on Scola.

Bonner leads the team in rebounding with 10.

Neal hitting ridiculous big shots - looking like the Real Neal again.

Splitter comes in and looks unstoppable, and gets pulled after just a few minutes.

Danny Green does his usual stat sheet stuffing, plus a lot of stuff that doesn't show up on the sheet.

Anderson's one big 3-pointer almost forgotten in all the excitement.

Parker speeding past everybody puts up a quiet 24 points.

Kawhi may be in the doghouse.

    Jefferson... was Jefferson here?

Oh, and Timmy. Just dominating the 3rd to even things up. Workhorse when we needed it.

We need to be starting Da White Howard.

Seriously though, Bonner starting might actually be better than Blair at this point.

Blair yes. Although I do think RJ would be useful off the bench with TJ, Neal, Kawhi, and Bonner. Start TP-Manu-Green-Duncan-Splitter....

I really don't think it would hurt at this point. The starters have been putting themselves in early holes lately, and a Blair-Bonner switch would still mean that they would not see the court at the same time. And I believe Blair would be better going against second string bigs with his energy off the bench.

is that like Bonner's second career double double?..
Bonner only had 8 pts. He didn't quite get his double-double.

    TP looking fast today
absolutely, not a lot of assists tonite tough but the game had anyway a very low level of assists for both team. He has picked up his defense in the second half and was very active. I think we can be totally reassured regarding TP's health it was just a tough start of season with a little bit of rust probably.

amazing game for Tim who looked very good and one of the best game I saw from the red rocket

Points in the paint is what got us the win, this Spurs team needs to keep doing this to make it to the playoffs and hopefully deep.

Bonner has been playing his ass off lately best I've ever seen him play.
He seems to be energized with that bench mob. Splitter, Green, Neal, Bonner and even JA at times. He seems to get energized playing with that unit, and that's great because he should be coming in off the bench.

Our bench has been off the charts ridiculous overall. As a whole they have done so much more good than bad and spurs are coming aces at this point with many guys exceeding expectations and that's with JA not panning out to this point
JA brings energy, which is why I mentioned at half time that I want him to start ahead of RJ. RJ is such a listless player that it just pisses me off so much. JA may not be shooting great, but I think it's worth a shot to give him more court time if RJ is bringing nothing. Don't have to start him, but you can just bench RJ for the whole game and put JA in his rotation spot. If we can get another big, I would do the same thing with Blair. If both those guys start poorly and bring no energy then bench them the rest of the game with other players taking their spots in the rotation until they wake up.

Bonner should NOT be starting. He's playing some of his best ball with the bench team.

Well at least you bring up a valid point, he IS playing well with Splitter, Green, and Neal. I think Blair could too though. And I still think Bonner would do a better job starting right now than Blair.

Even though we were down 19, it didn't feel like we were down 19.

Great game and we have some great youth right now. Can't wait for our injured players to return.
