Hopefully the countdown is beginning for the end of the Demps/Monty era.
I thought you guys waned to lose and rack up a high pick? Why so much whining?

Tiago is still not going to get consistent minutes. Which sucks, but the team is getting a lot of contributions. TP is looking better, Tim looks better than I hoped overall and the bench has tough, rugged, championship level role players IMO (not scared, change the momentum...).

Wow, something about Splitter & Duncan on the court together is so satisfying. It actually makes me feel confident in the team, doesn't make me feel like 1/3 of the front court isn't a liability(Which is the way I have constantly felt for years).

Nah. He lost me from the very beginning when he traded Collison for that piece of Ariza. Monty lost me when he refused to play Marcus Thornton over that piece of Willie Green.

Given how elite the Spurs are at home, HCA would be a nice thing to have for when the playoffs roll around.

As an aside, I am super impressed with these 3 wins. After a hard fought, emotional loss in Dallas, and with how tough this stretch was getting 3 wins is huge

They still have a ton of work to do, but the record without Manu has surpassed expectations. They still have too many ugly stretches and dig themselves a hole, but they don't quit as easily and the bench really plays hard.

Demps and Monty are too young and unqualified to be in the positions they are. You saw how Demps almost screwed up by trying to trade Paul to the Lakers. Honestly, he really loves Scola, from both of their days on the Spurs.

when there was still 1:30 left (game in hand), Manu was on the edge of his seat on the bench observing. Love the devotion.

I think Splitter's going to be in good shape. Both Tony and Tim trust and respect him. Pop was actually advocating for Splitter during a timeout early in the 4th (or late in the 3rd, I forget) when Green/Neal/Joseph weren't getting him the ball. I'm pretty sure Ginobili also respects Splitter.

Hopefully with the Big 3 vouching for Splitter, the underlings will begin to trust him more in no time.

    so?

same thing for the Hornets. son every team is having to play more games in less nights (other than the Clippers who are the NBA's newest team they are trying to push to the top)
