I sure remember the 1990 NFC Championship game

    Try again
Let me put it this way.....no one remembers the Giants were one of the teams that defeated the Bills in the Super Bowl. Because you got there on bull , just like this Super Bowl.

Americans want THE BEST. Not a team winning based on ref blunders & some 22 year old fumbling 3 times

Giants will always be a 2nd class franchise

    Niners
    Cowboys
    Packers

all superior & that's only the NFC. You could argue Redskins as well. LOL @ 3rd best in your own division

I'm pretty sure the Giants win over the Bills might be the MOST memorable game the Bills lost. Can you guess why?

Cause the 2nd class Giants got yet another break.

My point was people remember the chokers, not the teams that benefited. No one is gonna remember who won this 2nd rate ''Championship'' game.

Atleast if the Pats win, they have an argument. Giants were already exposed twice

Wow, DD warned me about you on the NFL Forum, but I had to see to believe. As a lifelong Cowboy fan, I can't stand the F***ing Giants, especially Eli and Jacobs, but the Giants have proven they are legit, beating the defending champs and the 49ers, both on the road. Whining about your boy Williams st blunders is understandable, but turnerovers happen and good teams know how to take advantange of opponents mistakes. Lol calling the Giants a 2nd rate team and the SB a 2nd rate championship. Man up dude and give props where props are due.

    Turnovers happen?

If Giants returner fumbled 3 times the Niners would have won the game by 30 points. We already beat their heads in a month earlier....we were on pace to punk them again when Kyle Williams started throwing the game with his 3 fumbles

Ask yourself this. Who was the player of the game for the Giants? Because without Williams, they don't score a single point in the 2nd Half

I understand your frustration, but turnovers are apart of the game. As far as who I think was the player of the game, I'd say Devin Thomas.

    I see what you're saying

Just very hard to see your team out play someone AGAIN and be well on there way to a Championship just to see a 3rd string brain dead idiot single handily do anything/everything possible to blow the game.

What disgusts me most is the media. If Kyle Williams pulled his hamstring before the game, the Niners win by 10+ points. So to see the media slurping all over the Giants (who got punked twice) is too difficult to take.

It just blows my mind how superior the Niners were than the Giants. It took 3 fkn fumbles & a blown call in the final 2 minutes to allow them to ''win''

Devin Thomas and the Giants D were the players of the game. Tell me how much this loss is getting to you. Let it all out.

Niners were running the football at will & Alex Smith almost had a 100 Passer Rating.

    The defense?

0/12 on 3rd down for the 49ers. And Alex Smith didnt do outside of 2 plays.

How many 3rd down conversions did the Giants have in the 2nd Half. . . .

Superior where? Both D's played great, throw the reg season D out the window the Giant Pass Rush got it together in the playoffs.

    QB-Edge- Giants by a mile
    WR-All Giants
    Running Game-Niners
    Special Teams-Niners

Sounds pretty even to me... Your QB still is mediocre. Not winning a SB with that guy..

  17. #117
Why can't we win a SB with Alex Smith when he outplayed Eli. Haven't you seen the Passer Rating?

    Alex Smith = 97.6 Passer Rating, 7.5 Y/C
    Eli Manning = 82.3 Passer Rating, 5.4 Y/C

Without the two fumbles, Eli finishes under 75%. If not worse

  18. #118
    Alex Smith 2011 Playoff Statistics

    247 Passing Yards/Game
    35 Rushing Yards/Game
    6 TD's - 0 INT's
    101 QB Rating

That's as good as you can ask for the QB position. Kyle Williams doesn't fumble 3 times = 49ers blow out the Giants by 10+ points. FACT

    Outplayed ELI

Your coach had Smith on a leash all season and game long.. If he was under the pressure Eli was under and had the same green light to throw he would have thrown 5 INT's that day.. Eli got hit like 40 times in that game and had no turnovers

From what I can tell the Cowboys are the only NFL team with hot cheerleaders, most NFL teams have some pretty gross cheerleaders. The Cardinals have this black cheerleader who's in her 30s and looks like a recovering meth head.

  24. #124

If the Giants had Kyle Williams then Alex would have finished with 4 TD passes. And a monster passer rating

Since Eli got gifts, imagine if Smith got the same benefits

But but but all I keep hearing in the media is how great Giants defensive line is

Smith did get pressured but he decided to use his feet and run for over 40 yards
