yeah, he can still on frontcourts like against the Hornets, but against stronger ones he should pick and pop all night long

Only 5 OKC players scored in the first half. They aren't going to win like that.
They don't dare him to shoot so much anymore because it's a good shot. Duncan's smart enough to work for a good shot, and at this stage in his career, that means moving the ball for the most part. 4 down wasn't really an effective offense five years ago.

And Timmy's gonna have his nights where he's on, and I have no problem with him shooting when he's feeling it. I even understand if he loathes any drawn up play for a 3 out of a timeout. He was way too far from the basket to be picking it up like that, no matter who the frontcourt is.

There are a lot of things that work in small doses that Pop unfortunately wore out, including 4 down. It's probably difficult to tell Duncan that he's holding the ball too much; I frankly don't know if anyone has the right to even say it to him. It really grinds down the offense now that he gets doubled once in a blue moon an he sits there waiting for it.
Have ya'll noticed the big man rotation tonight? Timmy on the court with Bonner and Blair. Tiago on the court with Bonner and Blair. But Tiago and Timmy not together in the first half. Seems like Pop wants to keep one of the on the floor at all times. Folks, I have a feeling we are going to see a 3rd quarter like the first 2, but somewhere about the 6 min mark, I think we see Duncan and Splitter together. That is unless we jump on the Thunder and put this one away early.
