Guess we will see what battery life their next cycle has. I have heard the Razr Maxx has good battery life.HTC “dropped the ball” on its 2011 devices, the company’s CFO has admitted, with LTE-equipped handsets simply too thick and offering insufficient battery life. Speaking on the company’s financial results call today, following HTC’s unappealing Q4 2011 results, Chief Financial Officer Winston Yung conceded that HTC had plenty of work to do improving both “design and components.”

I have heard this too, however I believe it is due to its 3300 Mah battery as opposed to any energy efficiency.
My Photon is stock right now and it gives me a full day easily. I almost never have Wimax on, though (coverage is here).
My htc amaze gets ok battery life, when im at work i have the internet off so it last me all day. Only problem is trying to find a car charger that actually charges my phone when i use it instead of it dying while charging.
I seriously considered pulling the trigger on a Photon and ditching my Evo.
Honestly though it's obviously a huge improvement, but not enough of one to make me jump ship. My Evo still runs like a champ. A testament to how "fractured/cluttered/etc" Android does pretty well on even older phones.
I'm not getting a new phone till the LTE comes out
Much easier tbh
ehh ive been stuck with a go-phone for about 7 years now. been promised a blackberry for 3.
