That's because Parker jacked up a jumper with seven seconds left on the shot clock. He could have run the clock down and didn't.
Parker single handedly costing the Spurs 6 points in the last 2 minutes ...

TP missing FT's, poor clock management and losing his guy in transition. Hopefully he makes up for that in the 3rd.
What else is new?
He got a steal so he cost at least a possession by the Grizz. Let's not forget he made a struggling Tiago look like a stud and is the only thing that keeps us from chucking 3s while praying we get/stay hot long enough.
Momentum shifted when Parker missed 2 consecutive FTs. Going by the eye ball test, Parker ing sucks amazingly bad at free throws this year
It took a luck shot from Memphis to pull them within 6. Sure they have the momentum going in to half, but I expect them to come back out attacking in the 3rd
Wow, talking about the Spurs during halftime. How nice. Pop getting all the credit.
Tp cost us a 15 point lead. missed free throws and took a shot too early which lead to the Pargo 3. And why didn't the Spurs forget about Corey Joesph and singed Pargo instead?
Horrible finish to the half..
Tp can't win on ST.
Thats his job.
Yeah TP messed up that final play, but no one told Neal to lose the ball and foul Conley all the time.
Exactly.
I just noticed that Parker is only on pace for 30 points and 8 assists. Slacker.
If you consider him shooting 79% from the free throw line this year "amazingly bad"....
He called "eyeball test". That means that he only has to look at those three shots, and not the whole season. A bizarrely effective strategy on some planets.
I meant just going by what I seen, you would think his percentage is worse than it is. He seems to always miss one outta two
I was ready to give him MEGA PROPS, but he screwed up to end the half.
I can make those free throws, missing 3/4 is inexcusable. We don't have margin for error on the road. Parker has to be more locked in. Vets can't be making those mistakes and leaving points on the table.
Gary Neal was trash as well. Should have bought Parker back earlier, but he needs some rest and we have NO backup PGs that can even handle the ball. ing re ed Spurs FO should have signed a PG that can at least dribble the ball up and run some offense.
the back up pg the spurs FO signed is injured...
Keep in mind Parker's more than likely tired as right now. He's been carrying the offense and playing good D on top of that. He's making mistakes because there's no second PG to help out.
Steve Novak's got 19 points.![]()
TP with a great pass.
Kawai needs to not try and be a 1 man fastbreak
Rebound for RJ.... I forgot he was here.
Duncan doing work early in the 3rd.![]()
