Duncan ing dominated defensively out there in the end. That was vintage Timmy for sure. yeah.
Are you ting me? I was listening to the first half tonight at work and was wondering why the sound would die down to silence inbetween the announcer talking.

I'm hoping with some extra days off, Spurs can get some practice time in and really work on TD/Tiago together.
It's just a matter of them getting comfortable and Pop trusting them. Some easier opponents coming up, I'm hoping Pop can experiment a little more...
yep. That's the noise gate on a digital phone system I think. It's staggering how re ed their technology people are.
Another solid performance by Kawhi on the defensive end.
Rudy Gay - 18pts on 9/26 FG
And the shots Rudy did make were tough contested jumpers you can't really do anything about. Grizz weren't even looking for their top scorer in the 4th anymore.
Bonner plays smart team defense for the most part and the other team isn't isolating on him, so he's not really a problem for now. As well as he's shooting he's a good decoy on the other end. The Grizzlies' front line isn't exactly in playoff form at the moment.
Gay probably scored 15 of those points when someone else was covering him.
Tbh it's a great way to start the rodeo trip, tough win that keeps Pop and the team on their toes.
Even with that HORRIBLE third quarter, the Spurs hold them to 37.3% from the field, and 84 points. Pretty impressive on the road.
You said it! LOL
Grizzlies shot 37.3%. That is an awesome stat on the road. Now all that has to happen is..... FREE TIAGO DAMN IT.
Yup, had a stretch in the 2nd where he an easy dunk and some other jumpers over RJ/Bon Bon.
I don't think our youngster guarded Gay too much in the 2nd half
Duncan/Splitter/Kawhi on the defensive end = Dominant
Duncan/Splitter/Kawhi on the offensive end = ... not so much.
Is it better to have Bonner out there over Splitter though in the long run?
Do you guys think Kawhi will get the same play time in the playoffs if he doesn't improve his offense?
He really needs to find his place on the offensive end or I think Pop might be tempted to give him less minutes.
Pop asked why the Spurs are doing better than expected. He mentions Parker, Duncan, Neal, Green, Leonard and Bonner.
lol splitter
Decent D tonight, however, I did not like the assist numbers. Only 3 Spurs contributed to 14 of the 15 total assists. Credit Memphis for defending the arc well in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters and keeping the pace slow...and without Tony Allen.
Of course it isn't. I'd rather have Leonard taking all his minutes. I'd rather have that guy who played college ball with Leonard taking all his minutes. Nobody's complained about Bonner more than I have, but if the other team's not able to isolate on him and score at will and he's not getting lost on defense then he's really not that high up on the list of problems.
spurs were lucky splitter kept them in the game. they were about to get their door blown wide open.
Wtf, there must be some story we don't know about, like Tiago being a teetotaller or something that pissed Pop off.
Everyone knows you can't love both an Argentinian and a Brazilian. It's like oil and water.
Pop's mother was Croatian and his father was Serbian. He can love anyone.
Duncan and Splitter scored 19 and 14 respectively. wtf?
