Duncan has been averaging 2.5 blocks per game in the playoffs, but this number has obviously been declining (except last year where it was spot on). He would need ~10 games to be at the top, so that's a possibility if the Spurs make it to the 2nd round.

As long as he's ahead of Shaq I'll be happy.

If he averaged 2 per game for 12 games, that'd take him to the top. Big question is will the Spurs play for 12 games. That'd be winning 2 (6 game) series and reaching WC Finals. I'm hoping that Dallas, LA and OKC land in the 1,4,5,8 seeds and OKC (which Spurs match up well against) reaches the WC Finals. This year, I think Spurs can handle the other playoff teams (that's if Pop plays Splitter against MEM). Unfortunately, Spurs can't beat CHI or MIA without injury to one of their star players.

I'm surprised TD's so close to the top - that Kareem has so few for a (what) 19-20 year career. Guess this list doesn't include Wilt or Russell.

Man chicago, We got a shot, rose will have to play both ends of the floor they're real good but not invincible. And if dallas can beat miami anyone can.

"Blocked shots were first officially recorded in the NBA during the 1973-74 season."

Yea they didn't keep blocks as a stat back then. Needless to say Russell would probably be well ahead of everyone on this list in particular, but the regular season/career lists would be quite different as well.

Kareem averaged 2.43 blocks per game in the playoffs, and played 41 playoff games before blocks were recorded.

His "real" number of blocks is roughly 100 (41*2.43) more than what's listed.
