The fad seems to have mostly gone away now but I still see the occasional update with some heavy handed preachiness about a cause that everyone with a functioning brain is aware of, like how bad AIDS is in Africa followed by "repost this status to spread the word. 90% of you won't, but to the ones who are brave enough to thanks for helping us in this fight!"
Yes. And posting pictures of beaten animals doesn't bring in any money. Where did you get that idea from? Pretty sure if my re ed acquaintance posts a beaten dog on facebook, no one is getting a magic paycheck for it

Mos def agree with everyone who mentioned the Bible verses or anything having to do w/ "god's blessings" or other nonsense. What's more is a billion people seem to feel obligated to like that bull , thus, encouraging the gotry all the more.
Another one (and this goes for message board posting as well, I suppose) is anytime people use "LOL", "OMG", or smiley faces instead of simple punctuation.

I'll keep it short but I've noticed a lot of gotry on FB lately.
-Posts about "drama" or anything similar where they basically try to call the person out via facebook status. So in lame.
-People who seemingly spend more time taking pictures of their baby and posting them on FB rather than actually caring for it.
-Anyone who constantly complains about "stress", "I'm so stressed out I hate my situation blah blah blah". Go see a ing therapist then you . Trying to fish for attention on FB is probably as low as it gets.

It annoys me when people use that "check in" status that tells everyone on fb where they are at. It is annoying when they tag people in it as well.
Also, the ones who take photos of anything from their phones and instantly post it on fb.
