Teams that get out scored in the regular season shouldn't be eligible for post season
How about a 10-6 championship team? You have no room to talk.
Teams that get out scored in the regular season shouldn't be eligible for post season
I cursed Wes myself when he dropped that ball, but let's not sit here and pretend that's the sole reason they lost that game.
Order of blame:
1. Brady (6-15, 64 yds, int in the 4th)
2. Welker (biggest drop of the game, errant throw but should've had it)
3. Belichick and Co. Staff (No points after the 9min mark of 3rd Q, 12-man penalty negated fumble, lots of mental mistakes)
4. Branch (couple drops, off tough throws though)
5. Hernandez (one drop, but at a key juncture)
Can't blame Gronk b/c he was severely limited.
Can't blame Gronk but you can blame the fact Gronk was injured. Sending Gronk up the seem when the safeties played too close to the LOS was the only way the Patriots know how to stretch the field. When he's injured the safeties can just play up and cut off all the short passes.
I also think Patrick Chung gets blame for constantly blowing coverage. Belichick for cutting the one free safety on the team then moving Chung to free safety when he was a beast strong safety.
Did you see him show thatRed Raider Pride
after the game and
tear up

The Giants punter can be blamed as well
a beautiful thing, imo.
Was also sad to see him say goodbye to his molestache
Welker would be a good fit on the Saints as the 3rd or 4th slot receiver, especially with Lance Moore getting hurt like he was in the playoffs.
Rofl no .
Normally that would be a 0, but since it made me chuckle, I give it 4/10
Hopefully this means he's done in New England
You don't think he would start on the Saints do you?
Welker won't be half as productive anywhere else as he was in New England. He was an irrelevant player before New England he'll be an irrelevant player after New England.
If he lands on a team with a franchise QB he might, but again, he wouldn't put up the same type of numbers in New Orleans or Green Bay since they prefer to throw the ball downfield and have WRs to do so. If only Chad Pennington was still around.
Chad Pennington can't deliver passes with zip into tight windows like Brady can. New England is the one place where Welker will ever be a 1,000 yard receiver.
Depends where he lands. If he can fall in with a competent QB and somewhere with a true #1 option he'll be fine and keep putting up numbers.
If he lands somewhere like the Jacksonville or Arizona.....he's ed. But a lot of receivers would be.
I thought Techfan said he was a true #1 option?
I thought we established that Gronk was clearly the #1 for that Pats? I'm not Blake, I can be swayed by things like logic and reason tbh![]()
At this point Blake is basically pulling a lefty and pretending he was kidding the whole time he was saying Welker was a true #1 receiver
That or it'll be the ol' "Well, Wes is TECHNICALLY the #1 WR, Gronk plays TE!"
Either way, I'd rather see him used to his strengths rather than being forced to be something he's not.
Rofl that you think he wouldn't.
