Look at Seppe in his purple gown strutting around the town smiling at all the navy boys back from the war with his asshole exposed.
Please.
crofl Is this even a serious question?
A younger Fish
Ariza (his best version)/Artest
Bynum/Odom
Gasol
How is that not beign stacked at every position?

Suns & Nuggets lose.
Night just keeps gettin' better.
tee, hee.
Peja was just a choking then, airballing threes and . Now in 01 Fox was up in Ferry so tight that he should have asked him to wear a rubber at least. Fox was really dirty in that 00 run; I remember a game they were down like 20 to Phoenix and he tried to start a fight with Cliff Robinson to get him tossed for the next game.
Kobe: 5
tired old bag Duncan: 4
Harper was a bad mother er for that team. Great D and clutch shooting (especially the game in Portland where Pippen beat the towels up afterward)
"A younger Fisher"
Fisher made every PG we played look like Isiah Thomas. Aaron Brooks is still in the NBA b/c of that Rockets series
We love Fish though b/c even though he was a black hole for 3.5 quarters, he came through with the big shots almost everytime.
Oh, and manu>dirk
amen. even shaw would bank in a 3 from the wing. sure that seemed lucky but he hit a clutch one in Game 7 of the WCF vs. the Blazers.
We had probably one of the greatest collection of clutch role players. Not a one of them except maybe a young Harper were even a "star" in the league.
That is why I say we were NOT stacked. But outside of the 1985 Lakers that late season and playoff run was a thing of beauty ...miss them s too![]()
Game 3, baseline J! Remember that vividly
93-91 Lakers![]()
And yet he was vital to those championships with many clutch shots.
When Bryant leads a team that has guys like Oberto and Vaughn in their rotation to a championship then he will lead a team that isn't stacked at every position to the promise land.
Until then we'll settle for:::
Kobe: 5
tired old bag Duncan: 4
Look I don't qulify les. But I have seen the Lakers win 10 les. The past 2 Lakers champions are 9th and 10th of those 10.
I would say
1. 1985 The drive to 5 was straight detrmination ... McAdoo gets his ring
2. 1980 Young (relative) Kareem, Rookie Magic, Silk, Coop
3. 1987 Thompson solidifies bench Magic takes torch from Kareem
4. 2001 A team playing beautiful ball by May and June shaq still best in game Kobe ascedant
5. 2000 Shaq at his best. Only year he was solely focused and paid the price to ring
6. 1988 Running on fumes but Magic, Worthy and Scott were at tail end of their primes
7. 2002 Ditto. Shaq and Kobe barely drag us across the finish line
8. 1982 A great team but the chemistry was off nixon and Magic began to feud and the coach and Magic too ...(remind you guys of Kobe? LOL)
9. 2009 the Kobe jaw, Clutch Ariza and fisher Key roles by Odom and Shannon Brown
10. 2010 Running on fumes Bynum's taking out of Perkins loomed large ...Artest!!!!
Considereing Fisher as a starter as "deep"...dumbass
Duncan had stars at the PG and SG, as well as the best defensive SF in the game at the time.
In 1999, he had Robinson before he was washed up.
oh, and manu>dirk
crofl...I'll give you the 1985 team, but the 2001 Lakers would face- just about any team, sans a few of the Bulls teams.
Bryant had stars at the 4 and 5 (Three of them). And a former DPoY in Artest.
Did you forget Shannon Brown?
agree to disagree
Shaq would of been a monster, but Kareem would of run that version of shaq off the court in 1980. Plus shaq would of been in foul trouble. Magic would of owned Harper, Fisher shaw. Cooper would of done a decent job on Kobe. Silk would of made those cats pay. plus Nixon/Magic would of forced the them to play at a quicker pace than the 2001 Lakers would of liked.
Andrew Bynum was not a "star" in 2009-2010...certainly not in the playoffs, especially.
Nope, a highlight reel dunk followed by a slew of turnovers. We had no starting quality PG's on either the 2009 or 2010 team, and were carried by Kobe, Pau, Artest/Ariza, and LO
Kareem would of had Shaq in foul trouble. No way refs allow him to Dikembe Jabbar ...
I think you're forgetting just how dominant Shaq was in that 3-peat, tbh.
The dude was unguardable. You'll never see 2 players destroy opponents like you did Kobe and Shaq in the 2001 Kings and Spurs' series.
That 2001 playoff run was like the basketball version of the Holocaust, with the Lakers playing the part of the Nazis
also DD, that 1987 team who would guard worthy? Worthy was a low post beast and Magic was so clutch for that team. I think that is a close matchup because Kareem is pretty darn old ...
But no way 2001 beats the 1980 or 1985 Lakers ...they may even struggle with the 1982 team ...if Nixon and magic hadnt beefed ...
I did not. But those lakers teams beasted in a less watered down league ...
shaq could of not kept up with the pace that Magic and Nixon would of set ...
Plus you have to remember refs, DD.
Do you recall that shaq spent parts of series especially aganst Sacto, in the playoffs, on the bench in foul trouble? If Vlade, Polard heck even Rik smiths in the 2000 Finals all got shaq in foul trouble. what would a young Kareem do? No way if plays out the same could Kobe bail out a win against THOSe teams with Magic leading the way ...
