No, you can't do that. Not just because of me, but you can't just add a new rule to a ongoing contest. That's just unfair for everyone.
Basically you're rewarding the players who missed to place their bets. And that makes thr trophy less validated, not more.

Rule existed in Round 1, and I mentioned it quite a few times in Round 2.
It's not like I just invented this.
EDIT: Just re-checked, to be sure. Mentioned this quite a few times, even on this round.
I never repeated it too much, because game got popular, and early games are rare, so people had plenty of time to put their entries.

You gave no warning whatsoever that people have to place their bets or the day will be cancelled.
This indicated that you just added the 10 contestants minimum as a fixed rule today.
If the rule existed from day one I wouldn't have said anything. Being at work I don't have the time to search for Day 1 of this round where you explained the rules.
It just came out of nothing. Of course in the end you can do whatever you want with your game, but I just don't understand why you're rewarding the players who ed up and din't bet.

This. I dont think he just implemented the rule for this day tbh, pretty sure its been intact. Both sides have a legit argument though, I can see how the trophy can have less validation bc too many people arent posting their entries on some days but Id also be pissed if I missed a day and the entries werent cancelled bc there were over 10 entries.
With that said, although mine, tp2021s, and eisfields entries were a game late...that still made it 11 entries in total so why not count them Spur_Fanatic? Not to be y or anything but I dont think the end result will be too drastic whether you count this day or not tbh. You run the contest though so you obviously have the final say .
I'd love to. But the rule stated clearly 10 entries minimum, which means 10 entries before the 1st game. I know it sucks, but it's what was stated since nearly the start of the game. If I make some rules, I can't simply decide when to obey them, and when not. This are not just random numbers. When the round is over, and I have to PM Kori to tell her who get's a trophy, I'd like to be damn sure that whoever won it, won it by the book. Kori is not checking the scores, nor keeping tabs on the game (as far as I know). So it's up to me to enforce the rules I myself created.

And if I win it (little chance, seems I'm terrible at this), I want to know for sure that I won it playing by the book.
Which is why I have to enforce the rules in place.
