pretty mean of you to not link the video of quad double.
Just in time for Tuesday night's game, let's go back in time to Spurs fans happiest moment in a Spurs/Pistons game...I was watching DRob's Quad-Double on Youtube and this came up on the side as a "you'll like this too." They were right.
pretty mean of you to not link the video of quad double.
here is another one of his greatest playoff moments as a spur
"In retrospect, this is how the commentators, players, and fans should have reacted after the award winning flagrant foul by Robert Horry on Steve Nash.
Did Horry do the morally right thing? Not really.
Did Horry do the right thing for the team?
He sure did."
DRob was the last player in the NBA to record a quadruple double, too...no one has done it since, even though almost 18 years have passed.
And no one ever will...I just don't see anyone who can pull off what he did in that game.
I don't think any wing player is going to do it any time soon. it would have to be a bigman but judging by the talent the nba has at that position...i doubt see it happening this generation.
tbh other than a Prime Tim Duncan, I don't see anybody who could get 10 blocks and 10 assists in a game.
with the right cir stances, the only one capable today is Lebron
i was thinking he could do it, but getting 10 blocks is insane for somebody who is not going to be guarding the paint.
Tim Duncan was 2 blocks away from one in the clinching game of the 2003 Finals:

If it's a guard it will probably be steals instead of blocks.
getting 10 steals is way more improbable than getting 10 blocks...
Lebron will not get 10 blocks, 10 steals, and 10 rebounds in a game...not with that team defense.
Exactly...wouldn't happen
That's why I was saying a prime Duncan is the only one I could see doing it, and he didn't. I just don't see it happening with anyone around today. If it's going to happen again, it's going to be someone we don't know about yet.
Ricky Rubio had a game with 9 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 6 steals. That's pretty close considering he didn't even crack a single double figure stat. I can see him one day pushing even closer.
Rondo or Westbrook are other guys that could potentially do it. I'm not sure I see a big guy with both the shotblocking and passing ability to get close.
Yeah with blocks it's easy to get multiple blocks in the paint on the same play because the offensive player usually tries going up again right away.
An even better video.
With enough touches and open shooters knocking down shots from set ups out of the post I could see the stars possibly aligning for Dwight one day (pts, rbs, asts, blocks). Chris Paul in a beast game could maybe get close with steals.
Great video
Spurs fans will never forget that game 5 performance from Horry. Unbelievable stuff from the vet in the crucial series turning point.
lol @ the commentator when Robinson gets the quad "You won't see that too many times during the course of a season"
Wow...didn't realize Rubio got so close. I knew there was something about that kid I liked. Pistol Pete reincarnated is a badass, tbh.
amazing that you picked that out too. I noticed it and literally laughed out loud.
Just a reminder of the disgustingly awesome lines Robinson was putting up around that time:
Jan. 11, 1994: 27 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 8 blocks
Feb. 8, 1994: 31 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, 7 blocks
Feb. 17, 1994: 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks
Three blocks away from having three quadruple doubles in the span of five weeks?
Holy mothers of basketball gods.........
Holy crap...damn I miss having him on this team.
Far out, that is amazing stuff. Hakeem had something similar where he was robbed of a quadruple double and went out and got one a couple of weeks later I believe.
Btw, your post reminded me of a whottt type of post. RIP.
