Westbrook is outshining Durant, Rose is a bit worse than last year and Kobe's 44% FG and 6th seeded Lakers ain't gonna cut it.
This will be Lebron's 3rd regular season MVP, no doubt.
Neither of those guys are MVP candidates
Lebron and Paul do more for their team than Rose does for the Bulls. Fact.

Derrick Rose's team is 5-2 without him, including 3 30-point wins
..
Their only losses being by 4 against Boston, and @ Memphis, playoff teams..
Why does typing "Lebron" auto correct to "Dpg" ???
good call, 78
dunno how you can have kobe
if he be more unselfish and share the load with drew and gasol, maybe he wouldnt have to carry the team....
Westbrook & Blake are MVP candidates
Bulls w/o Rose = 8th seed
Heat w/o James = 5th seed
Clippers w/o Paul = 8th seed
You can't reason using facts with that fool. He thinks like your average journalist. Too lazy to look up the facts.
And who did the Bulls defeat w/o Rose.....?
Thought so
We're talking about if the season ended today.
Lebron and Paul have done more for their teams so far than Rose has for the Bulls. That's a fact.
Bulls would be 19-11 without Rose right now.
Have they?
Bulls have the superior record & yet their SG has been out all season
Haven't the Bulls played the most road games to start the season vs the Clippers playing the most home games
People are just excited to see the new face in a new place
Clippers would be 13-12 without Paul. Wasn't like Blake did alot for the Clip last season.
Heat would be 15-13 without Lebron since Wade missed alot of games too.
Bulls have won a lot of games without Rose too.
Rip Hamilton has played half the games so far. Besides Korver and Brewer are playing much better than him anyway.
Bulls have the best bench in the league so far. Boozer and Noah have been great this season. Heck even Deng made the All-Star team.
You're just underrating your team just to be Rose's ball-licker.
I have no issue with Rose not winning the MVP this year because it was mathematically impossible for them to match the win total from last year but
James winning an individual award like the MVP with 2 All Stars on his roster is ing LAUGHABLE.
If you have 3 All Stars on your team you should be winning 60+ games a season. NO EXCUSES
How is it laughable when he does so much for the team? He does everything for the Heat offensively and defensively. He gets his team more involved than Rose and he scores as well. He's flat out the MVP because he's doing more for his team than anyone else. I don't care who's on his team. I care about results. The results show he's doing more for his team than anyone else. The numbers back him up.
NewcastleKEG's hate of the Heat, Giants, and black dongs is too much...
If the criteria for the MVP award was literally the most valuable player to his team, the results of the award would be drastically different..
2011: Dwight Howard
2010: Lebron James or Dwyane Wade
2009: Lebron James
2008: Lebron James or Chris Paul
2007: Kobe Bryant
2006: Kobe Bryant
2005: Kevin Garnett
2004: ??
2003: Tracy McGrady
All these players were more valuable to their respective teams than any of the actual award winners..
That's pretty much true although I give Paul the slight edge over Lebron in 2008
Honestly, Lebron had a great case last season as well. Yeah he was a part of the big 3, but the Heat had no bench and no one else outside of that.
Also Dirk had a great case in 2006 and 2007. He was pretty valuable to those Mavs teams in the regular season.
Does LeBron get an assist when his team mate misses the shot?
Does James get a rebound when his team mates guy made his shot?
Does James get a point when the defense triple teams him?
Your ignoring how James benefits playing on the most talented team in the league. I'd love to see James try and duplicate his numbers on a slow tempo team like the Celtics
I will say this. If James is to win another MVP before Wade completely falls apart, it's going to be before he wins a le.
James put up big time numbers in Cleveland which were slow paced teams.
Easily Garnett in 2004. Easily.
2005 is tricky. Garnett had a tremendous season on a crappy team. Dirk and Amare were great as well. Amare made Nash look really good. Shaq and Wade were both strong that season
Those weren't my choices for MVP based on the actual criteria, they were examples of "value", tbh..
If I had to vote for the award, based on the criteria, I'd go:
2011: Dwight Howard/Derrick Rose toss-up
2010: Lebron James
2009: Lebron James
2008: Kobe Bryant/Chris Paul toss-up
2007: Dirk Nowitzki
2006: Steve Nash
2005: Shaquille O'Neal
2004: Kevin Garnett
2003: Tim Duncan
2002: Tim Duncan
2001: Shaquille O'Neal
2000: Shaquille O'Neal
