    That's too close. I spent the entire '93 Finals out at the street lamp sitting in a folding chair waiting for the children to signal with the porch light. I can't go thru that agony again.

    The Heat can't be trusted. At least back then I had Jordan to roadblock Phoenix. I got nothing now but the fickle finger of fate.

    The Mavs had a similar cons ution of pedestrian fare and rang loud & clear. This NBA is topsy turvy. There is no line of habit. No firm rule of thumb. I got no firewall and I got Spurs massing. Unless something extraordinary happens, it could be a foregone conclusion.

    For this to happen... while the Mavs are on the right track, they need to give more minutes during the middle of the game to Carter and West, while taking some more away from Kidd and Terry. However, come closing time, Kidd and Terry need to be on the floor, when it turns into the Dirk show.
