Hi guys, there's a problem with the heat in my apartment and it doesn't work, so last night i turned the oven on, left the door open, and my place eventually became warm enough so I could turn it off and go to sleep. This morning was a really cold one though so before I left for work I set it at 250 so my apt would be toasty when I got back. I'm starting to worry whether I should go home for lunch and check on it though cause I have 2 cats and a dog. Am I just being a worry wart or is this kosher?

How ing big is your efficiency apartment that you need to leave the over open at 250 for the whole ing day??? Can't you just call about an hour before you leave work and have your dog turn it on?

When you live in WNY and your heat doesn't work, that's a problem. Just the other day I woke up in a cold sweat and had icicles on my balls.
