Honestly, Neal is right up there with Bowen, and Kerr among other greats as the players I can never get mad at for shooting a 3 out of nowhere..

Cold-blooded is the best way to describe Neal, he's not phased at all, I love it!
Cold-blooded perhaps but he needs to make FT !

Wtf? When neal loses the ball I turned the game off to get something to eat, and when I opened up the nba website to see what amazing headlines our loss would have, then lo and behold we're in ot and with the lead, and then we won? I mean, really, wtf?
I was reading all the posts and a bunch of them said "we lose" so I turned the computer off. Went back to Yahoo sports later to see game score and saw we won in overtime.

I learned one thing. Never trust these bandwagoneers on this site. They aren't fans or even familiar with the ins and outs of basketball They love a player for one play and then turn on him with a vengeance if he makes a bad one.

Couple of players over the years have had oblique injuries and only missed one to two games. Kidd had one earlier this year and was back within a week. No way Manu misses that much time imo unless it's truly serious. Splitter was able to walk fine on his leg and stayed in the game a bit even after it happened. He'll be back after the ASG.

We should also thank whoever inbounded the ball for the Clippers at the end of regulation (i think it was Foye or Butler?) or Spurs would've lost that game.

He passed it in to Paul too early, forcing him to catch it in the front court while his momentum was carrying him into the backcourt. To avoid the backcourt violation, he jumped and tried to pass it off, but bobbled the pass and it ended up giving himself the chance to Neal with it!

That is true they were back and forth the whole game, first quarter we're the worst team ever, 2nd we're not that bad, start of the 3rd we're the best ever. 4th quarter we suck we lost, then somehow we win. A basketball game is 48 min! Sometimes 53.

    It was Ryan Gomes

What is it with head players like foye scoring 3 times there average against us? I mean first ben wallace with a 3. Then jordan with the 20 fter now this jerkoff goes for 21.

came from our wing defenders, late on the bailout, too much spacing allowed and gambling

but the defense was there even though we playd like in the first quarter not hitting anything....

    + = Mike Del Negro.

Sounds like a fake private eye from the 50's television right?

Mike Del Negro in "Murder For Hire: She Devil Surprise!" or something like that.

OK...I was on call for work and was already putting off dealing with an issue to watch the end of the Spurs game. When Neal fumbled that inbound pass towards the end of the 4th with the Spurs down by 3 I assumed the game was over and left...pissed off.

I could't even bring myself to check out SpursTalk or any of the sports sites to verify the score. That is until I clicked on an ESPN link to see some racist headline they had about Jeremy Lin (" in the Armour." Someones getting fired for that) and saw that we pulled it out. I have to admit I'm kind of in shock now.

Just got back from the game -- had no idea either Splitter or Manu was injured until now.

    Yech.

BTW, the game was no fun either. The only good thing was the Spurs won.

(And I kept wondering why Splitter wasn't in the 2d half.)

This was one of the weirdest games ever but a victory is a victory!

On a side note its funny how the media went crazy over the Knicks 7th game winning streak.....imagine if the Spurs team were in New York
