    Ron Paul's Path To The Presidency: A Brokered Convention

    For an unlocked convention to occur, three things must hold true:

    1. The Ron Paul 2012 campaign successfully elected its delegates to the non-binding Caucus states;
    2. Santorum wins Michigan and continues his sweep of the Midwest and rust belt states; and
    3. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich remains in the race through Super Tuesday on March 6.

    MORE DETAILS HERE:

    No freaking way. If anything, on a brokered convention it will be a "none of the above" candidate.

    From what I hear if Santorum wins Michigan and Romney doesn't begin sweeping States neither candidate will reach the golden number of delegates before the Convention. If they go all the way and Romney doesn't win oh what an upset that will be.

    All will be decided in Willard Gecko's favor on Super Tuesday, March 6.

    All the fake ad-selling, hyped melodrama

    Even if there is some brokering at the RNC, what is there to be brokered? Who will the pitcher-of-warm-spit Veep? WGAF?

    Santorum and Paul, were/are/always will be, too extreme to be elected President. And they would never have enough votes in Congress to implement their extremism, but, like dubya and head, they could sure up America by ing up the Exec branch. Ain't gonna happen. Have fun with your imaginations suckered by the corporate media, chasing ad revenue and hyping fantasies, that it could happen.

    You need to be more specific, the article makes several assertions.

    As of now, Ron Paul won 5 of the first 8 states and has the most delegates. You have been duped by the media.

    Simple. I'm saying that if Romney's numbers against Obama keep falling and the convention is brokered IMHO the ultimate nominee will not be any of the 4 remaining primary candidates. They will twist some arms and draft someone that is polling stronger than any of the 4 (since they haven't been through the mudslinging).

    Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, Maine, and Nevada. Paul won at least a plurality of delegates in all these states, per headcounts by the Paul campaign.

    to boost the Paul-inian brand, a plum for Rand might suffice. RP is too old to be VP or Sec'y of anything, tbh.
