Off-topic here, but have jailbroken your iPhone after the iOS 5 update ?
(TBH I haven't)
If yes, why?
Lockescreen/theme customization?
SBsettings?
Apptrackr ?

I imagine this could be remedied with Swype, Swiftkey, or something similar? The onscreen keyboard Samsung built into the Note, to allow for input with its "S-Pen" stylus, is excruciating for thumb typists. Its errant autocorrect changed "tweets" to "sweets" but left a standalone "i" uncapitalized, but refused to butt out when I was trying to delete its mistakes. You don't type on this thing so much as you duel with it. By default, it vibrates with every keypress, as if we haven't already been using touchscreen phones for the last five years.

I have not, I don't really want to take the time to mess with it very much. Too busy playing Scramble with Friends and trying to keep my arcade Fruit Ninja score above my daughter's.
yeah, just change keyboards, there are literally at least a hundred of them (I would probably go with swiftkey instead of swype because of the size). Also, haptic feedback is default on every phone I have messed with. Also a quick fix.
I just wonder why Samsung insisted on something that sounds so annoying when there are better options available.
"hey, let's not put a lot of effort into this thing that 95% of the people are going to switch to swype anyway"
- just a guess LOL
Yeah I haven't either and don't think I will
However yesterday I jailbroke my nephew's iPod 4th gen (i used ultrasnow)
, I hope someone will upate jailbreakme.com (Comex was hired by Apple), so much easier
elaborate
It's literally a 10 second task to disable predictive text and haptic feedback. Poor little fella. He needs to do something that's not so hard.
Ive jailbroken my 4s and experienced some severe battery drain with either intelliscreen x or myassistant apps running i uninstalled them
oh boy
Any tool on Cydia to fix that ?
there was something labeled battery fix but i didnt download it.
Iphoners lol
lol android
lol unstable OS
lol battery lags
lol having to download app killers and
lol fragmented platform
you are so strange, do you work for apple or something? My iphone has troubles with apps too. Scramble, words hanging with friends ALWAYS s up. Battery problems? Iphone just as comparable. App killer program? , at least they've got that option.
double click the home button, hold down an icon and then click the little red X to kill open apps. pretty simple.
Is your phone jailbroken ?
Im aware of that. If I jail break my phone, doesn't that void the warranty? Im apprehensive to do that considering it's a company phone.
Technically, yes. But you can just restore it before you send or take it in and there will be no evidence of a jailbreak.
What happened to the main topic?![]()
Less steps on an android. Plus I don't need no stinking buttons.
two presses and then holding the button for 2 seconds vs using an app to kill apps?
I have an Android phone and it takes one hit on the home button then a couple quick touches on the screen to kill any apps, takes like three seconds. You people are ing weird
