There's no way it can possibly get worse than Nate Robinson taking 25 attempts to rob Iguodala of his le. Every contestant could lay up the ball up and half could miss that and it would still be 100x better than 2006.

I disagree about eliminating the dunk contest..

There's still potential..the D-league and amateur contests still provide the goods, the NBA can catch up, but they'll need to do a better job of choosing the candidates..maybe even increase the quality of prizes, tbh..

I can't think of a realistic alternative..1 on 1 could be cool, but the top players would never agree to participate IMO..

I agree they shouldnt abolish it. They just need bring back the old school format, and I agree about making the prize bigger maybe whatvere they give the winner they also give twice that to the winner's charity.
