KD was too busy thinking about his MVP award
I will say now that I get to see the start of the 1st quarter KD had a sick cross on James. Question is where was that when the game got close?
KD was too busy thinking about his MVP award
I get yall flaming Kool and Luva, but yall act like Duncan hasnt has a HOF big and/or 2 All star caliber guards. As well as a all time great perimeter defender. I agree Shaq has been better than anything Duncan has had but I would take Manu over Pau when Manu is healthy easily. Parker I dont like but he has made the ASG a similar number of times.
KD was there throughout... The only lesson learned was not have Kobe closing the game from the line anymore...
Flash moves.![]()
what was so killing bout it was it came from their very own Spur fan sourcesthey vouched for that
True but Timmy won 3 rings, arguably 4, as top dog.
Kobe won 3 with arguably the most dominant center of all time and the other 2 with best bigmen combo in the league. MJ had Bill Cartwright & Luc Longley for his rings.
Keep in mind Kobe's only played with 1 HOF player at time...Duncan has played with Multiple at the same time![]()
Kobe just needs two more rings to surpass Pippen as the best second banana the league has ever seen.
It's gonna take Stern gifting him another superstar or two to drag his ass to the finish line but ya never know.
and the over the hill gang from 04 don't count
Can't wait to read your new thread about this stuff...
just be thankful Kobe passed MJ that should be good enough for tonite![]()
Shaqs lazy ass still got those finals mvps![]()
Lol at Kobe shooting over 50% in the all-star when he couldn't even break 30% for two straight games prior to tonight.
Kobe 2
Shaq 1
And why is Kobefan beating their chest tonight? He was the 4th or 5th best player on the floor tonight.
pretty sure majority of those came in the first 3 qtrs. Kobe barely managed to hit rim when Wade starting D'ing him up.
Midget - OCD
Kool - None
Kobe 271
MJ 266
ANd Parker got one of Timmy's ...so what? Shaq deserved his. Who disputes that? If it was a playoff MVP award then Bryant had a case in 2001 and 2002 (not 2000 when Shaq was in his best shape ever) But shaq was the better Finals performer ...
What does that translate into the actual relevance of a season or overall career?
Kobe shook him so bad on the block Wad egrabbed his jersey and bloodied his nose, easy to defend Kobe when you have help. 1 on 1 he has no shot ... but Kobe cant stop him either ....
Kobe 271
Duncan 136
Lol, no. Shaq's total playoff production in both years was still superior to Bryant's. Sure, Bryant excelled in '01 against the Spurs. But what top 5 perimeter player wouldn't against Terry Porter, Sean Luck The Fakers, and Danny Ferry?
