Our guards were embarrassing. Beaubois might've been the most effective guard though he struggled as well.

Defense wasn't the problem as usual. Dirk settled for outside shots ALL night long. Terry and Carter were useless for the most part. Kidd missed open 3s throughout the night. Beaubois was our best guard and even he was putting up a lot of bad shots.

I don't know why they isoed dirk at the end when he was getting doubled all second half. Terry/Dirk pick n roll much?

I'd say we miss his offense more. Chandler had to at least be watched carefully as he will get alley oops if you don't. His activity made our offense a little more unpredictable. But yeah a tough matchup for Haywood tonight. Lopez is a beast.

And yea Lopez did take a dump on dem mavs but the game was very winnable. ty calls for both sides from the refs tonight including the missed goal tending, 2 travels, and kick ball.

Still though... a center with 6 rebounds in 36 minutes against a team that shot 36%? I can't imagine Orlando would be too enthused with getting Lopez.

I was being sarcastic ...I agree the lockout has inflated team's defensive numbers because scoring/shooting is down. Im not implying the Mavs are NOT a gooddefensive team, because they are. Marion has been one of the best perimeter defenders this year ANd Kidd still has great hands and Delonte is defensively solid.

    But they miss Tyson's presence.

don't tell Spurfan that the lockout is why teams are averaging less points against them. In their little hearts they think their team's defense has improved by that much.

I didn't watch the game, but DIRK MISSED AN OUTSIDE SHOT????
From watching the spurs play the mavs, I am not sure that I have ever seen that happen before.
