Easily RJ. Dude's a huge scrub who doesn't even try anymore.

TD is off the books this season.
But let's wait 2 years, and test that theory of yours in Kobe's 31m salary.
Plus, notice how you jumped on Laker's boat, even though what I said is completely true:
Lakers cap is killing the possibility of getting decent starters, aside of a possible trade.
Lakers have a never-ending war chest in their TV deal. They'll have been fully reloaded by that time.
I'm sorry HEB can't do the same for the Spurs
Being in San Antonio is killing the possibility of getting any worthwhile FA's. Just hope there's another HOF big man the Spurs can tank for again (a la 1997).
They could get paid 5b every year, and it would still not change how the cap works. Shows how uch you know, right?
LOL, getting cornered?![]()
There's no hardcap, and the NBA needs the Lakers to stay compe ive. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news for you. We will have D12 soon enough, and the FA's will flock afterwards.
Your small-town inferiority complex is showing though...don't be scared of daddeh
lol no rebuttal for that. You know it to be true. No self-respecting FA wants to go to an open sewer surrounded by some steakhouses.![]()
Shows how much you know. Welcome to 2012.
Nice backpedaling.
Is there a hardcap...Yes or No?
now let's see you act like that's unimportant and the owners didn't fight for it.
I'm sorry you can't accept reality, and I'm sorry your city has nothing to offer.![]()
I never mentioned San Antonio (btw, I don't live there). You did, once your idiocy was exposed. I merely stated the truth: The Lakers problems start with the cap. There is no need of a hard cap to screwup, when you pay 31M to a player (maybe not now, but when they make more signs, they have to consider a few years ahead as well).
But don't worry! The TV deal will totally expand the salary cap! It's in the CBA! It's the Lakers, of course it will happen! I mean, look, luxury means nothing to Lakers, they have ing Michael Beasley! They will sign Dwight and Paul too!
lol apologizing
, that's why the owners were fighting so hard for it
That's you and mono's schtick![]()
This made sense, and won thread. Just for the smily.![]()
Can't dispute it
Did the owners not make a hardcap one of their big points, and was it not a partial reason for an extended lockout?
"but it's not important."
you've already done it more than I have just in this thread
about mono you're correct though tbqh
SA does have cheap real estate and low taxes and decent schools. that's worth something to some players. hence why the FO and Pop act the way they do (classy) and don't tolerate .
Please tell me the sarcasm wasn't lost on you, tbh...
That doesn't compete with desired locations such as Miami, LA, CHI, and NY tho, hence why no big FA's have ever signed there (other than re-signing Duncan in 2000). Duncan is a recluse though and needed a place where he wouldn't be judged for trampstamps and his LARPing fetish
Who cares? Did I mentioned a hard cap? , I can invent stuff too, let me see...
Ah! "Ryan, you are an idiot. How can you say Kobe works as a call girl on LA friday night?!? Dude, show some respect!"
Oh, wait, forgot the smilie... ""
Besides: Lakers need no hard cap to explain Kobe's 31m salary.
lol no but it was still humorously ironic all things considered
don't forget michael finley and nick van exel bro! That doesn't compete with desired locations such as Miami, LA, CHI, and NY tho, hence why no big FA's have ever signed there (other than re-signing Duncan in 2000).
tim probably knocks the out of people with his foam noodle-covered golfclubs, tbhDuncan is a recluse though and needed a place where he wouldn't be judged for trampstamps and his LARPing fetish
Now I've got you running in circles back to your favorite topic in the world: Kobe
As long as there's no hardcap, the teams with money will spend money. It's common ing sense. If you can land a marquee FA or 2, you take the hit.
Lakers can't afford it. They have the money, I agree. And the owner is clearly a fan, so he will use it for luxury . But they first have to fix their cap management. Doesn't matter if they have money, if there's a cap they have to follow. Of course they can land great FA's. And yes, LA is a desirable free agent destination. But at the end of the day, they have to cut the pie for 15 players, not 4. If you know a way they can sign Howard, sign a decent PG, and still keep a decent roster, pls say so.
Mind you, Lakers seem to be in middle of a family takeover by the Buss family, so I think we giving them too much credit.
