If Chandler goes down for the Knicks. They don't make the playoffs. Dude is the crux of Knicks D.
We get it, you like the Knicks.
Hafta agree with my boy Ryan Fitzpatrick
MVP goes to Durant IMO
First Team All NBA looks good but Wade gets the nod over kobe
First Team All NBA D looks good but TOny Allen aint making it over Kobe or Wade
Last 2 games I agree Wade is making a push, but in the season (As a whole) so far Kobe has been better and has played through injury, unlike Wade.
I also dont see how ANYONE can pick Durant over Lebron, or TC over Dwight. I thought durant pre-season, because Lebron has more help. But with westbrook and Harden raising their games ...I would say the "Durant does more with less argument" has little merit. If that is the case, since Lebron has better stats, a more significant impact on defense, and both teams have similar records James is the MVP and it really shouldnt be close. And if he does not win, it will continue to show how bogus the award has become. Ever since they stopped giving them to MJ due to politics, the award has been suspect at best. IF they did give it to Durant, even though I hate the Heat bandwagon (but admire Jame's game) I hope he s on durant all series, if they met in the Finals. I like KD, even more than Lebron, but he is nowhere as good as James at this point. People allow their hate of a player cloud their perspective. Despite the balding or 4th quarter jokes, Lebron is the most dominant two way player in the NBA.

Yeah because Jeremy Lin had nothing to do with the Knicks resurgence. Chandler was carrying his team to an astonishing 8-15 record before Lin came along
ing re
Lin is probably the only one with an award on 100% lock
Nobody else went from D-league & bench to being a top 10 in their position
MVP - Lebron
DPOY - Igoudala (because Dwight doesn't need any more)
MIP - Lin
ROY - Irving
6MOY - Harden
COY - Pop (Even if I wasn't a homer)
How is Lin MIP when he didnt even get any play last season to improve on? Should be Harden or Hibbert someone like that. Just because he is from NY shouldnt mean he should get that award. I think he should be factored with the rookies, maybe they should have minimum number of games played to qualify/disqualify for ROY ...
Nice work including Pekovic. Dude has been going insane the past 15 games. He's definitely underrated.
If Frankensova continues what he's been doing lately, I'll change my vote.
Defensive player of the year.
It's not Chandler's job to run the offense, which was the main issue with the Knicks pre-lin. He held it down on the defensive end.
got.
lebald ain't a good defender tbh. he just gives a bit more effort than Kobe does at D it doesn't mean he's good, above average defender at best imho
LeBron's a great defender.
I wonder if Technique still says Amare is better than Dirk
OMG wow you're an idiot.
Your basketball commenting card is now revoked.
yeah he was so great in the finals last year the TOSB marion played like a superstar against him & ted on his bald head like he was 10yrs younger. can't say its just about his mental shortness, lebald just got pwned by marion on BOTH ends of the floor
He did a lot of these wrong in the Finals last year. I'm not saying that he is a great Finals performer. I'm saying that he is a great defender--which is true.
might be slightly better then those who play ZERO defense (e.g. steve nash) but it doesn't hold much water to call him a "great" defender tbh, he's not a liability @ defensive end that's all
Looks like Kobe's gonna get his 10th All NBA 1st Team selection
Kareem and Jordan are the others to have 10 or more in NBA history
