I've seen both in real life and a wolf would slaughter a Pit Bull without question. Pit Bulls are dumb as . Wolves are incredibly smart and also significantly bigger than Pit Bulls.

I'm not an animal expert by any means, but I think your first "wolve" picture is not a wolf. I dont think they have skinny ass legs like that.

For whatever reason he posted pics of an Indian wolf. A good pit probably would beat an indian wolf, they're not very big. A big grey wolf would own a pit.


The only dog I know of that was used to single handedly take down a wolf was the Irish Wolfhound. Here's a fairly small one with a pit...



They are a reconstructed breed so modern wolfhounds are pussycats but the original wolfhounds were more ferocious and could run down and kill the now extinct Irish wolf which were even larger than grey wolves.

The way they are now, certainly not. The "Olde English Bulldogge" is likely though, even if they were a bit rare in those times. Today's bulldogs were crossbred with pugs to create their current look IIRC? In Jack's day the bulldog was still a stubborn, healthy fighter capable of taking on much larger opponents.

A pitbull would literally die before it gave up, I dont think a wolf would stay in a fight that long. I think it would run off in survival mode.

There actually was a time when I saw a pitt take on a rottweiler...and the rottweiler had no chance until the 2nd rottweiler joined the fray...

Don't worry though the bet was cancelled when they didn't allow a 1v1 to occur, guess they figured pitt vs. rottweiler wasn't fair.

German Sheppards have about 750lbf/in2 bite pressure. The common wolf has about 1500lbf/in2 bite pressure. You do the math. The bite of a Pit Bull has less pressure than the bite of a German Sheppard.
