Wrong. Bonner is 55.6% from the field (effective field goal percentage = 66.7%) scoring 13.8 points per 48 minutes in "clutch time" this season with "clutch time" defined as follows:

4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left,
neither team ahead by more than 5 points

Edit: That's from the '10-'11 season, my bad

I take back what I said about laker fans being the inky ones who blame the refs.

Nut up s. Take what you dish out
No one complained about the refs till those last 2 minutes when they sucked. When we were down 16 we said we sucked. Go console your fellow nugget fans if you dont like what you see here

Ginobili defense made a difference. People forget he's one of the team's better defenders.

Try watching the game. Manu can't make Tony pass him the ball and he can't make Pop call plays for him. That second quarter he was pretty much just getting exercise running up and down the floor on offense really. Tony is treating him like he's James Anderson.

Ok here we go. 2011-2012 season:

Bonner is shooting 50% from the field (effective field goal percentage = 75%) and scoring 10.6 points per 48 minutes in "clutch time" this season.

Well, that's actually a little better (higher eFG%)

First thoughts about Manu's return? I think he did a pretty good job. Granted, his shot attempts around the rim on drives were thoroughly blocked, I thought he had a couple of good assists and a couple of good "should have been assists" (pass to a wide open Parker and Bonner at the end of the 2nd half).

-Why does Parker always sleepwalk in the games Ginobili plays? Thankfully it looks like he's awake now.

-Ginobili looks a lot better than he did after his return from his hand injury.

-Duncan and Splitter not very good.

-Why is Pop playing James Anderson?

-Leonard started slowly but was pretty huge in the second quarter.

-Danny Green's shoulder is bothering him.

-Pop putting in a cold gimpy Blair was risky tbh.

-Bonner big in the first quarter.

    -RJ ... got damn.

    -Neal needs JA's minutes.

If the Spurs can force the Nuggets to play halfcourt offense, they should win. But if the Nuggets get to play up and down streetball, they could win by 20.

    Second half will be interesting.

He got his shots stuffed but I like his aggression going to the rim. He looks pretty good. Better than when he returned on the road.

To be fair that's the only reason Manu is playing tonight is to try to get his legs back tonight and for conditioning reasons.

Manu looked pretty solid to me. He'll get his mojo back around the basket. He took it straight to the hole against some good D and got swatted. But I suspect he was just trying to wake the team up with some aggressive offense at a time we had none.

Shocking, you didn't mention that Ginobili didn't even touch the ball in his second stint, the final five minutes. Same old crap. If Pop doesn't call a play for him, Parker is gonna ignore him out there.

He's 1-for-2 from the field and 3-for-7 at the line during the clutch this season by that definition of clutch time. That one make was that three-pointer against the Clippers he absolutely didn't want to shoot.

Hardly proof that Bonner has been clutch this season, tbh.

By the way, anyone know why Gary Neal only played 6 minutes in the first half?
