Yeah, we've seen this post before. Timvp's was more articulate and grammatically correct though.
In keeping with "Is Tony Parker too CoM" discussion;
This team runs much better with Parker running it. Parker has some sort of mental block where he cant play or feels as comfortable when Manu is out there.
He needs to really take charge already and stop it with the Manu is this and Manu is that.
Too much stock have been put on Manu. Lets all gathered here and face it. Manu is done.
The whole team has this mentality where they think they cant go anywhere without Manu which isn't entirely false but you have to make your guys think you can make things happen.
Tonight's game was pretty bad for moral..
Yeah, we've seen this post before. Timvp's was more articulate and grammatically correct though.
Where was this post the previous game?
so what do you want to do? Trade him even though you're not going to get anything back in return?
Where was Manu?
I wouldn't trade him. I would however play him less and less and let Tony become what he can become without thinking he needs Manu or they die mentality.
Manu will retire as a Spur. End of story.
So Manu didn't bother Tony at all then?
You're making this too easy.
Yeah..I dont know what you're talking about.
I was alluding to the fact that Manu did not play in the previous game.
lol knee-jerk reaction
Tony did look a bit passive with Manu's presence tonight but that should change with time and everybody settling into their roles.
This team is clearly at its best when both guys run the show toghether.
I was alluding to that fact too, which s in the face of your argument that "Parker has some sort of mental block where he cant play or feels as comfortable when Manu is out there"...
Manu wasn't out there against Chicago and Tony was pretty bad too. Frankly, I think Tony is fatigued, which is a completely different topic.
Yeah because you can judge having a bad game from Parker when Manu is out comparable to how Parker runs the team with Manu in permantly.
My point was that he sees more in charge without Manu despite his glorifying of one said Manu.
Yeah you in the face of my arguement.![]()
No, his ass just still hurts after getting ed by Derrick Rose.
It takes you one game where Manu plays for you to draw that conclusion and start this thread, but then one game sample is not good enough?
you keep on ting on your own argument, I'm just pointing it out
nah. tony and manu playing together isn't the problem. what ed us tonight was the small ball. pop continues to go small ball even though we're probably one of the worst small ball teams in the league. someone needs to look at the stats. i bet our defense is one of the worst in the league when we go small ball.
we're probably not going to win another championship because pop has a major boner for small ball.
small ball.
Dude are you seriously this dumb?
Manu has been back-in-back-out twice. I have enough to go on to base my opinion on.
You keep trying being funny but you keep falling short of ridicule.
Didn't Manu just return? This will take time & Spurs need to decide whether priority #1 is playoff position or getting the team in sync. Knowing Pop, he will go for the #2 seed and figure the team jells on the run
Parker vs Manu. Tony is what keeps the Spurs compe ive but Manu is what makes the Spurs capable of defeating Grizz, Clippers, and Lakers. Nuggets, Mavs, & Blazers
With Manu in the game, you can sit Bonner & play a Neal. Without Manu you need Jefferson/Green/Leonard size & Bonner's shot
Well, considering we only really have 2 bigs (TD and Split), it's tough to play anything but small ball.
Manu was balling before his hand injury. He was by far the best Spurs player.
Spurs also won all their games with Manu up until the oblique injury too IIRC and Tony was still balling and the team playing well.
Not sure what you're basing your stuff on other than this loss, tbh
You need to ask yourself that question. Btw, lots of positive feedback so far

people keep ting on bonner, but he's been playing very good all season when paired with a good big like splitter or duncan. tonight our best line up that did the most damage to denver was splitter, bonner, ginobili, parker, and leonard. that's the line up that brought us back into the game in the first half. we saw it for like 1-2 mins in the second half, and that's probably the reason why we lost.
The four games Manu played before being re-injured my friend.
I wont argue with you that Manu was doing his thing before the hand injury because he was but post injuries...eh
Positive or negative, who cares. I'm still getting my point across and you're still posting here so who's the bag?
And at least my threads consist of legitimate discussions unlike your pointless and meaningless threads.
Now go make me some pancakes, you fruit cake.
He missed what? 7 weeks? Do you expect him to just walk out there and play?
Plus it's not like Tony has been deferential. I don't even think they shared the court that much since Manu came back from the hand injury.
