The way Dale died today was laughable. I mean, think about it. Why the is anyone going to walking alone in a field a distance away from others? Then why would anyone go to a source of noise in that cir stance? And, lastly, how the is a zombie going to appear from the direction someone originally came from, and without noise or any auditory indication, what have you.

Not a huge shock. They've been foreshadowing it for a while, from when he first shaved his hair to hide the damage from the Otis expedition to the two dead cops that they figured "got scratched" last episode.
