I would like to know how many Times Kobe, in non-championship years, has been on the front page of ESPN compared to other teams during their championship years.

No Bosh so I would hold off on planning the parade routes, but that said ... I though we would lose that game, so I am proud of the effort. Bynum was a beast, Artest played his best game since game 7 vs. Celts and Kobe reclaimed the best SG le from Wade.
Good win. I still doubt our TRUE contender status, without adding a bench scorer or upgrading PG. I know many Laker fans think we need a SF, and 1 game doesnt prove that we don't ... but I think it's "greedy" to expect us to address ALL needs without breaking up our core.
If we plan to keep Pau, I would be happy with a cheap PG: Jack, Sessions, etc. and going with Barnes and Artest at SF, as long as we add a bench scorer like Beasley. If we make a move and trade Pau, then we better get a PG like Lowry or Rondo and get some type of backup big in return ...
For the record, I would prefer to keep Pau, but his extension was too much. I get the Buss family trying to pair down salary to avoid some of the harsher tax penalties. If we are NOT legit contenders, then why pay these bottom feeder franchises to stay in business?
Oh boy. Where do I start. So Adade is admitting it was a farceThis Lakers victory over the Heat -- and the cause for newfound optimism among the Lakers -- was born of such unexpected things as Metta World Peace scoring 17 points, and Andrew Goudelock scoring more points than LeBron, Wade or any other Heat player in the second quarter, and Pau Gasol playing the role of tough guy, stepping up to get in LeBron's grill after LeBron tangled with Troy Murphy at the end of the third quarter.
Media is a little saucy over the Lakers double crossing them and not melting down longer.
tee, hee.
^"Now there was a man."
LA has no chance vs Heat in a 7 game series as currently constructed.
Neither do Spurs, tbh
that didn't take long
There's no absolute in this NBA, "as currently constructed."
None whatsoever.
Only absolute is that all your opinions are re ed.
Yes but Spurs defeat Lakers in a series.....currently
They beat the Heat without Bosh, Wade fouling out, Artest having a game of his life and Kobe shooting extremely well.
I ask you, do you think this will happen again? No.
Also, Lets wait if the Lakers can beat OKC and Spurs before we start putting them back in the conversation. Right now, the Lakers are a second round team at best. A punching bag for either the Clippers or OKC in the West. Heck, I'm willing to bet they won't even beat a healthy Denver team in the playoffs.
I think there is one this season. Miami and OKC will absolutely meet in the Finals. I just cant see any team blocking their path.
Not if the Lakers were 8th seed.
Lakers are a West contender, as DPG and I have been saying, all year..
Yes you and my boy have been leading that charge ... I just don't see it.
Only the Bend-overs and Gigolos play "None whatsoever" card.
