Anyone have any new news about our 6'10 SF draft pick? On draft day one article called him the Spurs new Dirk Nowitski.

Looks like he loves to shoot from waaaay behind the 3 pt line.
He's been playing in Europe for Latvia for a year so what progress has he made?

Everything I've heard about him is that hes at least 3 years away. But hes young, so thats not the end of the world. I wouldn't worry too much about him though.
lorbek, de colo, and bertans....who, if any, will be first to play in spurs uniforms?
Something like that. Which I dont think De Colo would ever play in NBA. And Bertrans is still too young and raw to say.

I dunno. At age 29 he seems like a long shot for his rookie year with the Spurs. I guess he was just a filler on that Hill trade.
Bertans started his season in Slovenia. His team got into financial troubles and he moved to a team in Serbia. He has done poorly for both teams. Saying that, he is only 19 years old so it's worth keeping an eye on him.
Regarding next season, Lorbek and De Colo are the only two worth being considered.
It would be nice if he could develop into a white Kevin Durant. LOL!!!
Do you have any current information on De Colo?
He is playing well this year. He will be a free agent this summer and wants to join Spurs.
De Colo is a Gary Neal one/two weeks after appendicectomy.
Only a bit less clutch.
Bertans is way off the mark.
Two kids worth considering, in my opinion, are Bo McCalebb (speedy PG) and Milan Macvan (2nd round pick of Cleveland, tough kid with 3 point range and and nose for the ball).
