Slapping someone in the face is physical violence to a greater extent, considering it's also battery.
He has the right to destroy his TV. She was initially cornered but he never prevented her from leaving the immediate area. As someone supposedly "physically intimidated", she certainly didn't act like it. Instead of trying to diffuse the situation or leave due to fear, she was provoking him by standing in front of his TV, pushing him and trying to hit him multiple times.
Keep in mind, this is all a result of them arguing over a Playstation. They should both be euthanized, at least for the sake of their children. Dude has anger issues and went closed fist on his wife in front of their two small children. And the woman was seemingly under the impression that there would be no repercussions for her striking someone in the face and initiating physical contact during an altercation.
I completely agree with those that say men should never hit women. But the inverse is also true. Women should never hit men. There are consequences to everything, especially when it comes to slapping your short-tempered, mentally unstable husband in the face.
If he's smart, he'd have gotten it on PC instead.
