robert nkemdiche @electus_1 Texas need to show me some love so I can know they want me !
Looks like Vonn Bell might be visiting soon. That would be some good news since we haven't heard much about the DB recruiting.
Raulerson up to his usual antics, on nkemdiche again...
Jake Raulerson @JakeRaulerson55 @electus_1 believe me.. Texas wants you.. DM me and I'll tell you some more about it! #hookem please give me a follow so we can talk!
There may be another OOS stud that Texas is after. OLB Jermaine Grace of Miramar, FL is claiming the Longhorns have offered. OrangeBloods is currently trying to find out if there's any truth to that.

QB Kohl Stewart was offered by Florida this week.
Summary from Inside Texas who talked with his coach:
1.) Plans to visit OK State and UT over Spring Break in April
2.) Searels got the ball rolling for UT because he knows the coaching staff at Bell's school
3.) Mother is a teacher so there's a heavy emphasis on academics, family environment
4.) Recruitment is wide open
Interesting. Talented player, but many thought Texas was done at OLB.
Read the interview. I didn't see Bell's Texas ties mentioned.

ATH Daniel Brooks tore his ACL recently at one of his track meets.
Every year there seems to be one or two guys who lists UT as an offer, but there's never been any reported contact. It doesn't sound legit but we'll find out soon enough.

Scout launched their top 300 today with 9 Texas commits in their top 100, notables with Ricky Seals-Jones at #8 and Tyrone Swoopes at #10.

Other tidbits:
ESPN reporting Dontre Wilson favoring Longhorns, about to visit Oregon.
West Mesquite WR Eldridge Massington picked up a couple offers today with Michigan and Notre Dame
OU Rivals site on Justin Manning, things do not sound overly optimistic for OU considering his brother played for Sooners and took him on trip.

So did the delay of an offer bother him, or is it all now water under the bridge?
"I still am kind of thinking through it," he admitted.
Massington is blowing up.
I'm not giving up on Manning even though I know UT is not the favorite. Davis is still putting in a lot of effort there and Wyatt is on him too. Hopefully he'll take his time as that would be better for the Horns. They need to get him back to Austin around the other commitments. The spring game and June summer camp would be ideal.
Do yall think we go after Morgan if Smythe ends up at Stanford?
Bill, do you still like Like Christian Morgan better than Smythe?? Bc sounds like we're not getting Smythe.
I've always liked Morgan, I didn't know about Smythe until his junior film came out. That grabbed my attention. I like Smythe better. I don't understand the pessimism on Smythe. A few pessimistic posters on Hook Em 247 is not a consensus.
I'd remind everyone that Dr. Smythe has said multiple times he'd like his son to stay close to home, and Smythe is from Belton. David Ash's hometown. Will I be nervous around announcement time on Friday? yes, but Texas has been the leader for a long time. Smythe was at JD1 and a spring practice.
I think Morgan is the next logical move if Texas misses on Smythe. Texas has also quietly been evaluating OOS options. At a minimum, Texas will have plenty of time to find another TE.
I can say with some authority that Morgan or Gow would commit to Texas on the spot. The staff has options.
I've never seen a bigger Sooner honk that DeMarcus Granger. Landing Manning will be tougher than most realize. I believe Granger lives and works in Norman. Y'all can do the math there. It would be advantageous for Granger to get his brother to OU. Some times there other forces at play than football.
After Manning, it's time to go OOS or JUCO.

From Eric Nahlin @ IT -
Dr. Smythe on his son: "I'm honestly not sure which way Durham is leaning."
Interesting note from Inside Texas. Says Searels decided to move Walters to C yesterday because of Espinosa's struggles and that bumped Flowers to G. That might be your winning line-up right there.
