Gary Neal will start for Danny Green tonight. Per Pop, it's a way to get Neal more minutes heading toward playoff rotation.
Tony Parker "a little dinged up," according to Pop. Left wrist, right calf. Parker will play through it, as he has been.

This should be an easy W.
Knicks will go small ball the entire game without Tyson or Jeffries.
Facing Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire is never an "easy win"...I expect a challenging win.
Hopefully Neal getting the nod over Green will help get the team off to a better start. Been frustrating to watch them start games out of sync offensively and immediately getting themselves into a hole. It's been a bad habit all season; starters get in a funk, and then the bench comes in and digs them out of it. Would really like to see them come out early and jump on the Knicks early.
Another good byproduct of this shuffle is that it guarantees TJ Ford the minutes at backup point guard, which I think will be necessary going forward.
Jefferson and Neal suck too much on defense to start together
It's looking like Pop is banishing all notion of defense this game, counting on the Knick's lack of inside presence to make the offense enough. Makes me feel queasy.
Their other guys can play some D. At least they were while the Knicks were on their win streak. But I never trust a Mikey D team to play D the whole game.
And Bonner on Amare for any amount of time kinda makes me sick.

Get ready for another hostile home crowd. My wife and daughter are at the game tonight. Wife just texted and said that the crowd looks to be 15-20% Asian. Add in the non-Asian Lin bandwagoners, and it's going to be like the Chicago game. Hopefully the Spurs fans will bring it, but when that much of the crowd is cheering for the other team, it's not going to be like it should be at a home game.

Well you just know that SOMEBODY is going to have a career night. So far this year, the Spurs have had the ability to make All-Stars out of some pretty unlikely players.

Neal's shot outside of crunch time has not been very good this year. It looks way off during the flow of a normal game. He still hits clutch ones though.
