Again, hate to see TJ go down but I think this will be a blessing in disguise for Ginobili.
With Tony playing as well as he is right now, it doesn't make sense for Manu to take touches away from Tony.
Manu should be taking touches away from Gary Neal's faux point guard schtick (Neal will happily defer here) and T.J. Ford.
T.J.'s not really a spot up shooter. He doesn't really have a consistent 3 point shot. He doesn't score off the ball like Leonard can. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective, but at the same time, we have to get Manu back into rhythm.
Having T.J. and Manu out on the floor (with Tony off) makes absolutely no sense. Sure, you can have T.J. handle the ball and facilitate (and have Manu sit outside shooting 3s off of T.J.'s penetration) but why the would we want to do that. We'd be skimping on Ginobili's full potential.
