Maher/Limbaugh: Entertainers, (only one of whom gave a cool million to support a presidential candidate).

Palin/Fluke: Political figures who put themselves on a national stage, (only one of whom's message remotely dealt with sex and contraception).

I think it's wrong on both counts but, to suggest Maher and Limbaugh didn't engage in the same bad behavior is fooling yourself. And, certainly, you wouldn't suggest Bristol Palin was somehow deserving of the filth Maher spewed about her.

If anything, Ms. Palin has been more wronged than Ms. Fluke.; But, only the misdemeanor trial of Rush Limbaugh will bear this all out. Book'im Dano.

if a double standard exists in favor of maher and taibbi, it exists because more people hate rush than have heard of maher or taibbi. it might not be fair, but no true conservative would ever say that life is fair.
