Oh snap!!
Yeah, every instance this season when a zombie had snuck up on someone is bullcrap there's no ing way a slow moving, drooling, shuffling zombie sneaks up on anyone, and that includes Glenn in the pharmacy in first half of season two.
Kevin Smith has just gotten too fat
I get that they needed that last scene for dramatic affect, but no way in do two men do that little chicken dance for ten minutes before one of them kills the other. I don't care how close they are.
Rick was just flat out smarter than Shane. Damn, up close and personal.
They do when one of them would have some 'splainin to do back at the house. Shane needed it to go down in a certain way, and Rick let him think that was happening.
How did Shane turn into a zombie after Rick killed him? Is there another way the zombie virus can be transmitted like through the air or water?
He was eventually going to be one because of the damage taken during the Otis episode. He was scratched, That's why he shaved his head. They took the trouble to point out the two dead zombie deputies last episode where they were going to drop the kid off, and that they hadn't been bitten. Rick even said that they were probably scratched.
If time had taken it's course, he likely would have taken ill, died, and become a zombie at that point. Rick just sped up the process.
Remember at the 1st Season Finale when the Doc whispered until Rick's ear? I think he told him that everyone is infected and regardless if you get bit or die of natural causes you will turned until a walker...my 2 cents tho!![]()
That's what everyone is saying on the FB page of Walking Dead..
everyone on FB is a Luck_The_Fakers_Luck_The_Fakers_Luck_The_Fakers_Lu ck_The_Fakers_ then thats what happens in the comic
Carl kills shane -- Rick buries Shane -- Rick finds out you can come back as a zombie even if you aren't bitten -- unburies shane -- he is indeed a zombie -- kills him
everyone is infected
The camera angles, especially on Shane at the end are excellent. The overall production of the show has improved and there's not as much meaningless dialogue/filler. It's looking like it's going to be Night of the Living Dead farm style next episode.
Shhh, I just thought that the blade Rick stabbed him with had zombie residue on it.
Great episode, now just going to have try and keep myself from looking for spoilers regarding the finale. Looks like an all out war is about the occur, and from what I hear, a major cliffhanger will be revealed which will bridge the start of season 3.
Yeah. Should be a shoot 'em up type of episode.
Yeah. It appears to be that if you die through natural causes you'll eventually turn into a walker. Who knows. The whole scene with Shane and the hostage in the woods was a tease. Everything happening out of the shot. And the vision he had at the end after rick shanked him didn't help. We'll see where that's taken. I knew something was up after the Otis incident. He looked like there had been a change in him. I'm hoping its not some dumb mutation of the virus. As long as Maggie isn't killed![]()
I'm thinking what they're going to do to tease everyone during the hiatus is at the end of the season 2 finale, they're going to introduce 1 of 2 new characters to the show. Readers of the comics have been asking about when both of these people were going to arrive and it looks like it's finally going to happen. For those of you who don't read the books-I think you'll really like the new additions.
Michonne and the governor along with his group will be introduced. I also hope that Morgan and his son return this upcoming season.
I believe they'll probably be heading to the prison this upcoming season, and hopefully that doesn't feel like a drag similar to how this season felt at the farm.
I think the prison as a whole will be work in the favor of the show. So many things go on there. Hopefully they pull it off the right way. I am very excited. This show looked like it was losing its way but the past few episodes have been stellar.
i cant wait till next Sunday! Best show since Dexter started
Hopwfully the hunters pop up next season
If Shane was changing because of scratch then Rick has to be changing from when him and Shane threw down the other episode
Apparently one has to die in TWD universe to zombify. The virus, or whatever is underlying the zombie sickness already lies in the blood of everyone -- something I think is only possible via the airborne route -- of course this is viewing it from a epidemiological standpoint.
Scientifically, I want to assume the zombie transformation occurs because one of the genes that the zombie virus codes for is turned on amplification style when death happens, initiating and further perpetuating the activities of a zombie.
All this insider info will hopefully be revealed in the finale and in season 3.![]()
While I do not believe they will do a cure for someone who has already turned. I believe the show will create someone who is immune to the virus, kind of like in 28 Weeks Later. The immune character will help develope an anti-virus for those bitten but not yet turned, just like in Resident Evil.
For all of Loris talk of fulfilling domestic duties, she sure can't seem to watch her ing kid - even when an armed prisoner is roaming the woods.
