it there a worse analogy in sports than 'the sky is falling'?
you see, in sports, all but one team fails every year: the sky falls for 29 teams in the NBA every year, and much of the time, for many of the teams, it never even gets put back up enough to really fall again. but in the fable, it's supposed to represent the end of the world, but the world doesn't actually end, the sky never actually falls, and the people who are afraid of it are just hysterical idiots.
tbh it's the hysterical idiots who think the Spurs are just fine putting any eggs in the Manu basket
