I love me some Manu. I hadn't seen him in a while. I am opposed to the shave the head since I'm going bald look. Got damn he's going to look like Ed Asner by the playoffs. Biology is a mean when it comes to hair loss.
This. It's a freakin' pulled muscle, nothing more.

what happened in those playoffs?
Manu was hurt
whether his hurt or not, still a serviceable player compared to the diluted bench
The fact that he will probably only play half the games in every season from here on out he is definitely not worth the 14 million he's receiving.
Our frontcourt got dominated and Mike Conley and Darrel Arthur looked like All Stars?
the last player you can pin that series is on Manu. He even wanted to play the 1st game and Pop decided to sit him out. Haters gonna hate, tbh.
Manu preparing crow flavored cookies for the haters...

Manu loves sweets so much he made his bones out of brittle.

of the players that were/are on the Spurs, perhaps, but if we had traded him in 08 or 09, whoever we obtained probably would have helped get more wins.
there's a reason that this team seems to play so well, so in sync, without manu; and only marginally better with manu, despite manu looking good and putting up good individual numbers.
if we had traded him for someone who complemented Parker and wasn't in-and-out of the lineup all year, Spurs probably have 5, and probably never make that Jefferson trade either

Spurs calling Manu's latest ailment a hip flexor. Day-to-day. Doesn't appear as serious as the others, but we'll see.
Pop on Manu: "It’s his third attempt to get through training camp, is basically what it amounts to. He’s working through it.”
Manu questionable for Orlando on Wednesday
Small excerpt on Pop's thoughts...
Despite Ginobili’s run of bad luck, Popovich said he doesn’t becoming exasperated by the repeated injuries.
“Never, because it’s Manu,” Popovich said. “It’s his third attempt to get through training camp is basically what it amounts to. He’s working through it.”
Like usual, Ginobili had reported to training camp in December in peak shape. That early training — before the injuries — allowed him to start the season with a career-best 56.6 field-goal percentage after his first 13 games.
“He’s always in great shape,” Popovich said. “He got hurt. He hurt his hand and sat for a long time. Now you’re not in good shape.”
I don't think this basketball fan thing is working out for you. Have you tried the geek zone?
Doesnt sound too "questionable" to me, sounds more like probable if they arent making a big deal about it. No one seems to be talking too much about it. Plus he better play damn it, I'm going to the game tomorrow, and I already saw a game without him (The win against Dallas at home January 5th).![]()
like ususal Manu reports in peak shape, but as usual he injures himself multiple times per season![]()
Nono, pop has to say that bc Manu is mentally fragile as well.
come playoff time, we all know who's back the Silver and Back will be riding on
Duncan. It has always rode on Duncan.
Stats don't support Manu as being so much better than Parker in the playoffs.
FG% 3 pts 3pt% Pts/gm A/gm R/gm
Manu .443 9-28 .321 20.6 4.2 4.0
Parker .462 1-8 .125 19.7 5.2 2.7
Parker shot a better % overall but hit 8 fewer 3 point shots in 20 less attempts.
Not like Manu was shooting lights out in comparison to Parker.
Manu scored less than a whole point more than Parker.
Assit and rebound totals are also close.
I didn't think Manu was so much better so I went to go look at the stats and they just don't support that Manu was so much better than the rest of the team. I would say Manu and Parker were close to the same.
Duncan's numbers were down and the weak interior defense(too many points in the paint) were the reasons the Spurs could not get past Memphis. As Duncan goes the Spurs go and it has always been that way.
Manu had a broken elbow and all defense Tony Allen on him. Parker had Mike Conley.
Yeah, you.
Tony vs Mike Conley Jr/Greivis Vazquez
Manu vs Tony Allen/Shane Battier
Do I need to add anything else?
