    I also liked Hornacek

While not a GOAT, dude was very underrated

He looked like a redneck accountant (is there such a thing?), but he was a heck of player

Growing up, I really enjoyed watching Reggie Miller play. His clutch 3 point shots were beyond awesome, and I loved his rivalry with e lee and the knicks

I grew up watching the NBA in the nineties, so my list will reflect that:

(Pre-morbidly obese) SHAWN KEMP: Man was so fun to watch. His dunks and his overall awesomeness. Gotta love the Rain Man.

(Pre injury) PENNY HARDAWAY: Loved his game. Loved his personality.

SCOTTIE PIPPEN: Loved his game, always had a soft spot for side kicks.

(Pre injury) GRANT HILL: Another guy who just got robbed by injuries. He was hands down on track to become a top three player IMO.

T-MAC: Hated Kobe and for a good while there T-Mac was on the same level and there was definitely an individual rivalry between the two. He could do way more than just score, which is all he ever got credit for. Shame he was never part of a winner though.

I'm sure I'll think of some more but these were guys that I loved to watch.

In today's NBA I love KD (hook em), Rose is an amazing player to watch play, Westbrook is honestly just a half step behind him in jaw-droppingness if entirely frustrating, Monta Ellis is fun to watch even if he seems to be the perennial scorer who doesnt win, Kevin Love and Rubio are two great players that will be fun to follow, always liked Shane Battier, Steve Nash really remains a marvel to behold

One of my favorites was Tim Hardaway.

    That crossover was nasty.

I'm sure I'm the only one but Vernon Maxwell was my favorite player growing up. I liked how he dominated MJ when the Rockets played them.

For me, it was more of a combination:

    Gary Payton to Shawn Kemp.

Those two were just so damn exciting to watch as a kid.

Unlike Iverson, TimH and Isiah had a legit crossover (didn't palm)
I'm sure I'm the only one but Vernon Maxwell was my favorite player growing up. I liked how he dominated MJ when the Rockets played them.
As inconsistent as he was, Maxwell always played well vs MJ

In fact the Rockets matched very well vs the Bulls and I think they would have beaten Chicago in 94 if MJ didn't retire

    Hakeem.

Surprised nobody even mentioned Clyde Drexler. Also surprised nobody mentioned Moses Malone, but I guess the 17 games he played in SA disqualifies him.

It was hard for me not to like Dr. Dunkenstein and "The Chocolate-Thunder-Flying, Robinzine-Crying, Teeth-Shaking, Glass-Breaking, Rump-Roasting, Bun-Toasting, Wham-Bam, Glass-Breaker-I-Am-Jam." (Crazy-assed Darryl Dawkins.) Maybe it was just my age at the time.

One guy I always liked, because he was a tough sonofa , and who deserves more nostalgia recognition than he gets is Robert Parrish. The last full season he played, he was 39 years old. And he was still better than all but a handful (give or take) of the centers in the league right now. Put that 39 year-old Robert Parrish on this Spurs team, and they would be legitimate contenders.

    Edit:
Forgot to mention a player who went to high school in Schertz and played college ball at St. Mary's. But he was always one of my favorites because he's just a really nice guy. Robert Reid. His career stats weren't overwhelming, but he had a knack for coming up with big shots and plays in the clutch. Has was a steal with the 40th overall pick in the draft.
