2 straight possessions, with the game tied vs the magic, under a minute left to play, and Lebron passes to Shane Battier for a 3 (both misses)?

Sad that an MVP candidate is so scared of missing the final shot, that he passes off to Shane Battier...

And then Dwade rescues his ass with a game tying 3pointer after Nelson hit the go ahead.

Lebron had 3 guys on him, on both plays..

He just did what you wanted him to do, drive into Howard and 2 others, and he missed both attempts, instead of passing, because it's a stupid basketball play..

Battler had 2 completely wide open 3s, he gets paid to make those..

He had 3 guys on him on the last play because he over penetrated though. He could have easily pulled up from 15-17 feet and took the shot or the stepback, like Wade did at the end of regulation. The guy has lost all confidence in the clutch...

Why would you pull up for a 15-17 foot contested jump shot for 2 points, when you have a wide open shooter for 3 points?..

The game winning shot %, for even the clutchest player, is probably less than 40%..a wide open shot for a 3-point speciality is a higher percentage shot..

Didn't watch the game and they didn't show those two possessions in the highlights. Was Battier having a good game or something? Because he's still only a 38% three point shooter. So even if a clutch shot is less than 40%, a wide open three point might not be a significantly higher percentage shot because of the pressure involved of a clutch shot with the game in the balance by a role player. In a lot of situations, I'd still rather LeBron force a shot than give a role player that shot. And after he missed the first one, you sure you want to go back to him again? Maybe Battier needs the confidence boost for the rest of the season though.

Lebron plays the right way. He's not the reason they lose and there are lots of other reason you can find.

Lebron doing what Lebron does best tbh. Actually, the ball should have been in D-wades hands and we'd probably talking about a Miami win instead of another Lebron choke job.
You've got to go to your finisher. When is Spo gonna figure that out?

I wonder what Lebron's game winning shot % is? It might actually be higher than most considering he rarely takes one unless its a sure thing.
