This trade is pretty good for everyone, clips get a 2 guard. The wizards get not Javale Mcgee and his mom, and after next year a good team with thier pick. The nuggets get younger and save a ton of money to get Chandler.

Restricted FA, no way they'd match anything over 7 mil, and I'd be pissed if they did that.

Long story short, Faried made Nene expendable. Faried will be at Nene's level next season. He already rebounds like a beast (something Nuggets have always needed), and he's developing a decent enough offensive game. Gallo willbe pushing 20 ppg next season, with Ty and Al providing the other scoring punch, so I guess we can live without him. Don't know about relying on Mozgov's ankles though.

Can we just buy McGee out?

McGee and Fareid could be even more athletic than Griffin and Jordan..

Look, McGee is crazy, but he has talent for sure. Nene was hurt and Denver is in the middle of a playoff race and has potential to go decently far if they get good match ups. McGee helps them out because he is healthy and fits into their style. He's also expiring in case it doesn't work out and while dumping Nene for nothing (if McGee doesn't pan out) is silly, he wasn't playing well even when he was healthy.
