    Well, hot damn!

Seriously though, the Lakers should pick him up for the vet min. Rehab him, then send him to Germany to get the Kobe treatment on his knees. Then we have a great back up center for Andrew Beast.

Blazers are an up and coming team. Maybe not this year or the next, but one day.

Oden was already breaking his wrists in high school and considered injury prone. No suprises here.

With Oden being waived that means Hasheem Thabust moves up on the depth chart.

How ironic Hasheem Thabust moves up in the depth charts while Greg Oden gets waived. I was never excited about either one because I thought Oden breaking his wrists dunking the ball in high school was a portent of future injuries and I was right. Meanwhile watching 6'7" Dejuan Blair destroy a much taller Hasheem Thabeet in the NCAA tournament and in regular season did not impress me. Hasheem was a bust before he ever got selected and he was the number 2 draft pick of the 2009 draft.

So did Oden spend all of the money he made as a player in the NBA? If he didn, then it sucks but if he was wise and saved most of his money then at least he's got that.
