I ing hate Steve Blake always have...you'll never hear me say a good thing about him...I don't care if he hits the game winner in a 7 game series against the Heat...

I think too that Sessions is only marginally better than Blake and a tad bit better than Fisher...I hope you're right though I really do...I agree that Kobe will get over it but if they digress and show signs of fear similiar to Kwame Brown asking Kobe not to pass to him because he was scared then we're ed....

I will give Sessions 10 games and then I will reassess...
Trust me, me too. I'll probably give him more than 10 games though. I expect Blake to start until Sessions gets familiar with the offense.

We didn't need much. We already had two really good non-PG playmakers in Kobe (4.8 apg) and Pau (3.4 apg). Both were better than Fish (3.3 apg). Now we are adding Sessions (5.2 apg) to a stronger supporting cast that already has the best frontcourt in the game (for the haters, yes, Bynum/Gasol combo is the best by far).

It could blow up in our faces, but I doubt it. This trade made us younger and faster at the PG position. This trade improves our perimeter defense. This trade will allow us to utilize our bigs to their potential every night.

Think about it: we have another ball handler with KGB as targets? We also have someone who can take over the playmaking duties from Kobe. That's huge.

Go watch some video. This is much more than a marginal upgrade. The Lakers didnt need a superstar. They still have the big 3. Sessions gives the lakers 2 things Blake and Fish of late cannot do. A PG that can run the offense and will take lanes TO THE BASKET. Instead of having Fisher standing at the three or Blake dirbbling around the perimeter we have a PG that needs to be guarded and can actually guard opposing PG's. He is also capable of tossing the entry pass which neither Fish or Blake could do. How many times have you see Drew pivot around his man to go up for an ally oop only to watch Blake or Fish just stare at him? The only question is how tough is he mentally playing on the big stage and we will shortly see that. All these haters saying this is only a slight upgrade are only fooling themselves. Watch the videos of him taking it to the hole and jamming ot home and then find me more than a handful of the very same type of guard play from Fish or Blake over their entire careers.

Drew and Pau are going to be the happiest players in the league. And Kobe had him on the approved list long ago. And we got him for guys who never see the floor and have ty contracts. Are you kidding me?

As for Fish and his Laker legacy. Thank you Derek! Well done! But lets not forget now, he also left for money when he had the chance. Also, with Sessions on board he was going to sit and how is that being good to the man? We got a semi athletic big that can fill a role not unlike McRoberts who has been a bust. Seriously, could he be any worse and if so he wont play so no big deal. We got more atheletic and bigger and gave up . Are you kidding me?

The Lakers are a much better team and anybody thinking otherwise is kidding themselves. Today was a good day!!!!

I gave you a chance at the current odds and you folded like the cheap suit you are. You lied about it as well. At the time I told you take it or leave it and you pussed out. And all the lies and back peddling change nothing. You have a real tough time getting your stories straight. I told you then it was one time only offer and it was. My money has alread been placed long ago.

He cannot do that. But dont count out being bought out and coming back as an asssistant coach which is all he would have basically been had he stayed.

Would be interesting and a good move by the Lakers. Not sure if there is a rule against that or not though.

A lot of useless words. You could've just said "Nah. I'm too scared to put my money where my mouth is."

2 to 1 if you're certain "17 is on its way." You'd be a fool to pass up any bet if you know a particular outcome is "certain."

Here are MY words. I gave you the chance, told you it was a one time, you backed up like the puss you are and refused. One time chance means just that.

So you can lie and BS and say one week you think they have a good chance to win it all and the very next that they will fold in the 2nd round all you want. I couldn't care less. And why would I now bet with anyone that so blatently lied with "oh that was before the Odom trade". What a loser.

    I like our chances!

From certainty to "I like our chances."

And when I sent you that PM in August saying I think the Lakers have a good shot, was or wasn't Odom still with the team? [no need to answer since it's a in' rhetorical question]

So what I refused. I didn't like the 5 to 1 odds. If anyone is the pussy, it's you. You roll around proclaiming "17 is coming!" and then when someone steps up and challenges your certainty, you want "Vegas Odds."

And how does me not taking that bet affect anything? I don't let "Vegas Odds" dictate my gambling decisions. Those are simply posted in an attempt to get an equal amount of money placed on both sides. I even explained to you then that I think the Lakers are more like a 2 to 1 favorite in reality.

Lol too scared to back up your words with money.
