You guys have proven lately to be better than advertised..I think a lot of people had written you guys off the past couple of years, but you're quietly fitted together enough pieces to stay in contention. Leonard, Green, Jackson, Splitter, Neal all kind of came out of nowhere. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Texas team take home the trophy yet again this year.

Yeah but he was still getting in the paint and wreaking havoc per the usual, this time hurting us by distributing the ball a lot. I think this game was more on our role players stepping up and hitting shots. I'll reserve judgement until after Jackson has a chance to assimilate and Manu gets healthy for at least a decent stretch.
We made a number of mistakes switching which is to be expected with new players.
That being said the Mavs made us pay. Very good passing to find the open man and then they just flat out hit shots.
The Mavs looked much more like last year in the playoffs.
Ginobili still has not got it back yet. The vision has returned, but his legs have not kept up. The explosion is absent, the long stride absent, and his 3's often dont have legs behind them.
I liked this game. Brings us to reality and harder work. Its good to see Duncan talking with the youngsters with some passion.
