Carl is so ing annoying. Can this kid go away already.

I get that; but there is a disconnect with the series.
On the highway at the beginning of this season; lots of dead people in cars that WERE NOT zombies; in fact Carl took something out of one of their hands.
I agree... this plot device of waking up a zombie no matter how you die is a creation of the shows writers. Nothing like this exists in the books. And unless they seriously deviate from the books (which they already have), Carl is here for the duration.
Shane was an interesting, dark character. A man of action, and a guy not adept at making speeches. The show needs more like him.
It was a wimpy, predictable plot move to bump him off the show.
The show has improved since the break, but they're still missing a lot of opportunities for more chills and thrills imo. Enough with the speeches and inter-personal tensions, let's see some terror FFS!
The show seems to equate gore with thrills. Meaning, if they show one or two caved in zombie skulls a show, this somehow satisfies the horror quotient.
The ZA should be as terrifying as a battlefield. There should be some "Saving Private Ryan" type moments of horrible loss and violent, dreadful action.

Can you guys stop watching this awful series? Then maybe AMC can cancel it and put something decent in it's slot. It's a joke having it mentioned in the same comercial as Breaking Bad and Mad Men.

Breaking Bad is the best series AMC has right now. The Walking Dead would be 2nd followed by Mad Men.
MadMen has Waaaaaaaaaaaay better female characters than either of the other shows. Walter's fall into the dark tops all, though

Character from the books - from what I can tell - Twitter went crazy when he/she came out.
Also, Twitter went crazy with the last scene. I couldn't make it out but I guess we'll know next season. I'll probably need to read the books.
