Kobe lost the game, Sessions leading the 2nd unit brought a 10 point deficit within 2 and it went back to 7 when Kobe & crew went in

So far, Sessions has had a positive impact

He's a nice pickup. Didn't shoot too well, but got to the line 8 times and handed out 6 dimes with no turnovers. He's by no means the savior because the Lakers problems run deeper than just the PG (they desperately need athletes at the wings), but a good upgrade over Fish nonetheless.

Barnes is actually pretty decent in terms of a good athlete, hustle, slasher energy guy etc.

The main problem for this team will continue to be lack of 3 point shooting and an overall ty bench.

His shooting will improve, everything else he did was solid. Excellent passing and breaking down the defense; we would have won if he played the entire game and Kobe was benched

Sessions just needs to learn to give the ball to Kirby and get out of the way. Once he gets the offense down, it's smooth sailin for the lake show

    8-10 FT, 6 assists, 0 TO

This guy had 24 assists in a game once. Once he gets settled and is a starter I wouldn't be surprised to see him close to averaging a double double.

Sessions is awesome though, tbh. He's not the best shooter but lightning quick and a very good playmaker, can get to the rim with ease.

I think you can get away with poor 3 pt shooting since your frontline is so dominant, but outside of Barnes now average athleticism (compared to the wing players of the top teams), the Lakers look positively ancient on the perimeter.

    Yup, i like him too.

Its just a shame that hes gonna be relegated to watchin the Mamba shoot 35% for the rest of the year.

Exactly, his shooting was off tonight but he was exciting and made things happen. Put a lot of pressure on their D, too. Can't wait till he gets acclimated enough to where Blake only sees 10-12 minutes a game (pipedream, but whatever)

Sessions is a decent player and a good addition, but he does not provide the most essential tool that Derek Fisher possessed, which was the balls to regulate Kobe and his atrocious shot selection..

    Session was 1-7.
    Session+Blake+Murphy+World Peace+Goudelock were 4-17.
The good thing in Sesssion was he got 0 TO/foul in 23 minutes.

Did you watch the game when Sessions was in, not Blake? Or are you being a boxscore wizard?
