Being that my father has ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, and has for 25 years, even though he was given a max of 4 years to live, I wanted to get a tattoo of something that could honor him. My father has always loved this image..



His retirement speech. When he said "Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth." I bought him a framed picture of this and he has it next to his chair that he sits in every night. I finally figured out what tattoo would be perfect.
