Good stuff. Wish the best for him.
Good stuff. Wish the best for him.
In other words, he's there to tutor Joseph.
Good to see. Hope he's glad to be back in Austin and he's able to help Corey get better.
Smart move, tbh. If he wants to coach, the Spurs system is a great place to be.
Class.
Off topic, your Beasly/Tolliver love rub gif had me laughing pretty hard
Still sucks that we lost TJ. Happy for him.
That's making sweet lemonade out of lemons.
Much respect to TJ Ford. Assistant D-League coach is far from glamorous. If his goal is to become a head coach at some point, hopefully he achieves it.![]()
Good for him. Hope he succeeds.![]()
Wow
Wish him the best
This will be good for our future backup
PGs
Never took TJ for the coaching type (particularly because hes admitted that he hasn't been well coached himself) but this is a cool project for him. Wish him the best as well.
It was interesting that we Spur fans, and so many of us Longhorn fans, got to witness TJ Ford's last hurrah. I'm sure across the league the blurb has simply been "TJ Ford retires," but we witnessed quite a simultaneously ty and classy exit. TJ had some tough breaks in his career but he really seemed to have found a great home with us however briefly. I was really excited when we got him and he really had been playing well when he could stay on the court. He will be missed from a fans perspective as well as a basketball perspective; he truly gave us an element we now lack once again in terms of playmaking from the back up pg spot. I hope he succeeds in his coaching endeavors if he continues to pursue them...not gonna lie it would be pretty cool to see him climb up the Spurs system and assist on our bench or maybe even be head coach of the Toros one day. Gotta love the CJ/TJ angle as well for his development. Thanks for posting
.
Goodluck to him and I wish CJ will be better than him.
Awesome and good for him. As an Austinite I hope to meet him in person one day.![]()
What could have been! Before the spinal injury, the dude averaged 14 and 8 in only 30 mins. Such an underappriciated player. if he gets drafted by Pop instead of that bull Milwaukee FO, the dude turns into a perennial year after year allstar. Pop knows this. That's why pop showed so much respect to TJ. Good Luck TJ
Good for him and both Austin and San Antonio.
